Rayalaseema University admissions are based on marks obtained in the relevant entrance examination. Students have completed class 12 from a recognised board for UG courses such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Ed, and B.Tech. In most UG courses, admissions are based on class 12 marks. B.Tech students need to qualify in the AP EAMCET entrance exam. Students have a bachelor's degree with 50% marks (45% in case of reserved categories) for PG courses, such as MA, M.Sc, M.Com, while the MBA and MCA admissions are done through entrance tests like AP ICET, followed by counselling. Sports Facilities: The campus has an indoor stadium with floodlights and 3 wooden badminton courts (currently under renovation). It also offers indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis. There is a 400-meter, 8-lane athletic track, two clay volleyball courts, one football ground, and one cricket ground. The gym has a ten-station multi-gym, free weights like dumbbells and barbells, a bench press, squat stand, flat bench, and racks for dumbbells and barbells.

Rayalaseema University provides hostel facilities for the students. Separate hostels for girls and boys are provided at the institute. Rooms in the hostel are provided on a sharing basis. The hostel rooms have all the basic facilities like bedding, lockable steel almirahs, attached toilets, study tables, and chairs.
