VESIT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From semester 6 the students becomes eligible for campus placement the top company which recruits in the campus is JP Morgan and chase which offers and annual package of 19.95 lpa. Every year they take around 10 students. Around 50% of the students get place my plan after getting the degree is directly get to any job via on campus placement or via of campus placement. Do other company that visit the campuses Accenture ,CarWale, Force point, Intellectual Broker, Deloitte , ICICI and some core company for Electronic and telecom branches. The placement of IT branch and computer science branch is good along with AIDS branch. By the placements for rest of the branch is ridiculously poor. Hardly 30% students gets place in lower branch.. My plan is to straight up take up a job through the college placement or by of campus.

Students are eligible for placements from third year although companies visiting is declining because of recession many low placements are offered to third year students compared to fourth year students. Companies like accenture, jp morgan, wipro provide most average and high packages with the highes from jp morgan was nearly 12 LPA. About 70% students getting placed, out of rest some opting for Masters and some unemployed. I will try for placements after my degree mostly off-campus for better package.

The currciculum is better comparatively as being an autonomous college we have subjects that are actually needed in our job fields, and we are not learning other useless things which are not needed anywhere in near future.

My plans aftergetting a degree is to do an mba. i wont be sitting for placements. students become eligible for campus placmets after their 2nd year . The companies which visite here are tcs, jpmorgan, morgan and stanley, capegemini, siemens etc. the average package here is 4lakhs pr annum. percentage of students getting placed is less because of recession.

Campus placement are available here from onwards 7th sem the placement process starts and the company's with good opportunity come here with a good package and placement process is very easy and TPO also hepls if any difficulties is been seen by any student

As i have just passed first year i dont have clear idea about placements. Although placements were decent until recent years but now due to recession opportunities are less. Still if one works harder he can get opportunities

Vesit has a placement cell of its own where various famous companies visit every year and offer placement to hire students. The college has a good placement statistics and the average package offered is 10 LPA. The highest package offered was around 28 LPA.

Once you reach your final year (4th year) The companies will start approaching college for placement after after your exams there will interviews season in your college. The criteria for interviews is that students should have a good pointer throughout all the years.

The campus placement is good and salary is decent enough. We have a subject related to that how to present our self. Due to recession the placement is affected but most of the students get an offer. If I don't get a good offer I would go for off campus

the curriculum followed is similar to mumbai university as it is affilated with it but it is much easier than MU .they have only kept the topics which will be useful in the upcoming years and removed unrealted topics
