What Students Say

Likes

The campus is good and pretty clean too.
There is no ragging and the relations between juniors and seniors is good.
Weekly hackathons and other extracurricular events are conducted.

Dislikes

Since it got autonomous status from academic year 2022, the placements have went down drastically.
The faculty isnt much helpful and adequate study material is not provided by them.
There have been cases where paper checking was done incorrectly on purpose to extort rechecking fees from the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The currciculum is better comparatively as being an autonomous college we have subjects that are actually needed in our job fields, and we are not learning other useless things which are not needed anywhere in near future.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for a male general student would go around 6 lakhs as yearly it is around 1 lakh 25 thousand. But there are ample scholarships provided by the college to reserved caste studentss and for the general, theres the ebc scholarship available too.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good. Different events and hackathons etc. are conducted by the different clubs. Events like Prarambh for freshers in the month of August or Illusion in January wherein the whole college participates and we get to know more about our seniors. The library has a wide range of books too. Different clubs for music, cultural activites , gaming, dance, sports, literature, tech, coding are run by the students of the college,which conduct their own events frequently.

Admission

The admission is doen through mostly the CAP rounds and it is determined by our MHT CET score or JEE score. The cutoff for EXTC was around 94. The only problem faced by students during cap rounds is whether they should opt for the college or for the branch.

Faculty

The facukty to student ratio is mostly 1: 60, which is not bad. The faculty is highly educated with some of them holding phds and mba degrees,but yet not so approachable at the same time as the teaching methods are kind of strict and not so student-friendly.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.

Sggs nanded- an insight to the college

Placement Experience:

Students becomes eligible from sem 1 only but package offered is quite low like 5000 per month. Real placement starts from 3rd year from internship. Many tunes internship turns into a full job. Microsoft visited last year and offered 40 lpa. Companies like tcs, tcs ninja, google, infoys, emearson, accenture etc visits every year and offers good salary. Highest pakage was 40 lpa offered by microsoft, average is 5 lpa. For extc highest was 25 lpa offered by tcs. Almost 85 percent people gets placement on campus. Off campus highes package offered was 60lpa.My plan after getting degree is to sit in campus placement and get myself a good job.

My dream college COEP

Placement Experience:

The placements offered by COEP are simply great. The percentage of placements in overall department is from 72 to 100% . The student are eligible as they get in 2nd year . The companies that visited are wipro , infosys, mircosoft and core companies like tata motors, mahindra, Bajaj auto , emerson, asian paint , bosch. Bajaj even has there school of automobile openned in COEP. Highest package is 87 LPAand the average package is 12 LPA. You only need skills to crack the interview percentage does matter in some height the minimum percentage required is 65-70 . As COEP offers best placements I planned on getting campus placement as well

Campus Placements as shown by the college on the college website are good as the average salary is a bit nice in my point of view, and the real experience will feel on the time when I apply. Asper the college they give 100% placements.

Remarks:

Overall good academic management and campus life with good available facilities like canteen, library and entertainment along with experienced set of teachers.
