Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curricullum is revised but it still lacks bit of difficulty and core concepts which help in deep understanding of concepts also helps a student to have a project based research approach towards it.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

Non-paid internships are mostly availiable with certificates but not much of a proffesional approach, mostly startups offere internships without stipends, Internship experience is pretty bad taking low/no stipend in mind and excessive work hours.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are eligible for placements from third year although companies visiting is declining because of recession many low placements are offered to third year students compared to fourth year students. Companies like accenture, jp morgan, wipro provide most average and high packages with the highes from jp morgan was nearly 12 LPA. About 70% students getting placed, out of rest some opting for Masters and some unemployed. I will try for placements after my degree mostly off-campus for better package.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for SC/ST, are nearly 15000 a year, for OBC its 70000 same for ews and ladies. For general its 125000. Fees are bit higher than expected scholarships are for ews or other minorities invluding Sindhis.

Campus Life

3

It is quite good considering cultural and technical societies covering nearly all types of hobbies of people. Library is very accesible also has subscription to renowned magazines and research papers. Classes have smart board and nearly every teacher uses it.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is only availiable for first 2 years of college, a mess is compulsory which costs 80000 more totaling to 180000 for just hostel and mess along with respective fees. Hostels have strict in and out times they are not co-ed they are separated, rooms have 4-5 people depending on size. PGs are expesive also food is a common issue in PG.

Admission

To be eligible for the cpurse you need to clear MHTCET/JEE cut-off for the college which is quite simple, application is done online via college portal and admission form is filled offline through CAP rounds. College has no management or internal quota for admissions. Exams are not very frequents but assignments and projects are. Exams are divided in three- 1 Unit Test, 2 End sem exams, 3 Practical exams.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio is nearly 1 teacher to 8 students, teachers are flexible and can meet teacher if availiable in cabins or classes, faculty is well proficient in the subject and helps any student with any kind of doubt.

Interview Experience

5

No Tests were needed for admission other than the entrance exams which are conducted by maharashtra education boards or NTA. MCQ based questions are used in the entrance exams. Admission criteria varies for minorities and general students by marks/ranks.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.

Placement Experience:

Students becomes eligible from sem 1 only but package offered is quite low like 5000 per month. Real placement starts from 3rd year from internship. Many tunes internship turns into a full job. Microsoft visited last year and offered 40 lpa. Companies like tcs, tcs ninja, google, infoys, emearson, accenture etc visits every year and offers good salary. Highest pakage was 40 lpa offered by microsoft, average is 5 lpa. For extc highest was 25 lpa offered by tcs. Almost 85 percent people gets placement on campus. Off campus highes package offered was 60lpa.My plan after getting degree is to sit in campus placement and get myself a good job.

Campus Placements as shown by the college on the college website are good as the average salary is a bit nice in my point of view, and the real experience will feel on the time when I apply. Asper the college they give 100% placements.
