Everything about SIT from A CR

Likes

Extremely co operative faculties members and their teaching process
Library and lab , medical facility any time u want to access these 2 u can

Dislikes

Location is 5 km away from main city so transportation is a thing to be worried
SIT also has gym with zero maintenance and equipment are so old admin should look into this matter

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course fee is above 4 lakh for 4year course and if I talk about extra cost that is transportation cost u need to bring extra 1500 per month if u use auto and lunch cost is approx 60 and books u can borrow from library and that it u need to to have more money to survive at SIT Scholarship u can get Swami Vivekananda scholarship 18000per year

Likes

I liked my college campus as because it is bit far from the main road
I liked my campus as because the teaching staff are supportive.

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that sometimes the teachers arrive late in class, not always but sometimes.
I dislike the fact that college life will soon come to an end :(

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee pattern was the same, until the NEP changed and a bit of hike came into the fee structure. Otherwise everything is good. Siliguri Institute of Technology doesn't have a very high fee structure, it is bit cheap and affordable.

I'm a student of this college.

Likes

I like the football playground. I play everyday.
As I love to read books, I like the library the most, there are all kinds of books available

Dislikes

Few teachers are there who doesn't teach just to score mark. But to gain knowledge
some teachers are good , but one teacher doesn't even makes us understand the topic

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure is very easy and simple. The first-semester fee of 25 thousand or 30 thousand should be paid at the time of admission. And will have to pay according to the next semester. The scholarship will be provided to eligible students in order of merit and subjects to the budgetary allocations provided by the government, For renewal the applicant will be eligible for the scholarship if he/ she has obtained 50% marks in his/ her previous exam.

Likes

I like everything Because everyone helped me, And everyone's use of pickles is very good.
Siliguri institute technology is a reputed college in the state of West Bengal, 😊 I like playground & I like everything.

Dislikes

As there are many gardens around the college there is a high chance of wild animals, but no need to worry as everything is available.
There is nothing not to like, as the reputation college is good in all aspects

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee structure is very simple. At the time of admission, you have to pay first semester fees of about 30,000 rupees. Then Semester 22 fees have to be paid. You can get a scholarship based on your marks and merit. You can get also an education loan from SBI Bank.

In the first year I have no job, financial assistance got. But one scholarship I got and that name is swami Vivekananda scholarship. The fee structure is 2 times in a year because our full semester-end 2 times in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before being the student of SIT I had heard many good as well as bad comments about this college. Later my cousin suggested me this college as her friends were studying hear. According to her it was a goos college. After admitting myself in this college I really feel it as a good college It had the cousre which I wished to join. It has good teachers non teachings staff. A good faculty.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Scholarships provided by INDIAN govt are available. Minority scholars are also available. College provides loan facility if the student needs so. Besides the management is very cooperative in regarding fees matters.
