I choose BCA cause codding is my hobby and I love to explore new technology but if you are not from technical back ground then also u can take BCA in SIT asI said faculties are too helpful they will make ur tough syllabus as simple as water u just need to follow their word with dedication Sit BCA department consist of approx 3 hundred students totally and the total number of teacher and lab assistant is 10 All the teachers here has completed their MCA and some of them are from btech Mtech Background and also some of them having PhD with appox 7 year teaching experience In our academic calendar we have 4 CA or continuous assessment per semester and the evaluation of CA takes place accordingly first one is based on attendance and class performance second one based on report the for the third one department execute internal exam of 25 marks on the syllabus till coverd and ca 4 is only exam executed by makaut directly from portal

From 5 th semester students become eligible for campus placement and minimum 8 gpa is recurred to get the offer for be sitted in placement drive Every top company visited and students are placed their This year highest package is 51 lpa from btech September previous year 57 LPA from MCA dept and average is 4-5 lpa 70 percent My plan is pursuing MCA

The course fee is above 4 lakh for 4year course and if I talk about extra cost that is transportation cost u need to bring extra 1500 per month if u use auto and lunch cost is approx 60 and books u can borrow from library and that it u need to to have more money to survive at SIT Scholarship u can get Swami Vivekananda scholarship 18000per year

SIT has a huge and soothing campus surrounded with tea garden and the environment , natural beauty is literally eye soothing u will find monkeys in campus it will make ur mood automatically good Fest and tech fest both are there let me explain Fest take place in may it's a 3-4 days event sports quize seminar cultural program band and external artist also come and one day fest happens off campus in a 5 star resort of Siliguri And techfest also there and which include compition seminar webinar Library is there and it's totally free to access any time any books u can borrow from library but not more than 10 book together SIT has so many students club technical club photo graphy club Google developer students club and so on

Eligibility is just passing 12 th board exam with minimum 60% mark Application form u need to collect from college or you can go through SIT website it's better to come at campus see everything directly and take addmission there will some carrier councillor will be there for guiding u to best path
