Employee satisfaction and it's benefits towards the work life balance of employees

The environment was neat and clean. Teachers are very supportive
Placement for B.Tech course is very good

Dislikes

Placement for management department is not good
Placement department coordinators doesn't feel responsible for organising the placement drives

Admission:

The only reason I took admission in this college was that my elder cousin brother has just passed out from that college. Also my aunt's house was near to that, so our family decided to give admission to SIT.

Life in SIT SILIGURI

Likes

Infrastructure, Faculty, facilities, placement cell

Dislikes

Sports Activities are not much happening.
Campus could have been bigger with more facilities.

Admission:

I choose this college because I liked the infrastructure and wanted to study btech CSE and our college fees was lesser than others. And placement percentage is also good. That's why I choose this college.

Likes

The campus is very beautiful as well as the faculty are the top notch.

Dislikes

Sometimes the loads of assignments can be a burden above the upcoming exams.

Admission:

Eligibility: You need to pursue science in 10th and 12th and have an average of 60% in both exams. You need to have a computer in your subject list. You may apply to any entrance exam to get first preference from the college. You can find the application form online or you can physically contact the college.

Likes

I liked the collage infrastructure very much it is beautiful and was amazing
The Hod and other professor are very good and motivate and guide the students

Dislikes

Well the computer and device in lab is quite old
There is no Wi-Fi network available for student in campus

Admission:

The eligibility of the the course is senior secondary pass and crack CET exam which is quite easy entrance exam. There is no issue during admission as long as above Cretiria has been met and you have paid the fees.

Teaching is average got lab facilities and also sports facilities

Dislikes

Small campus too many rules to follow language barrier for students outside the state

Admission:

Since our college is private there admission criteria is low you can easily get cse even if you got 45% in 12th boards Forms can be available in campus you can also get admission through jee mains wbjee and direct 12th boards result

Me and my life of college student

Likes

The interaction between me and the faculties members are easy compared to others.
The college class are very interactive and fun for students.

Dislikes

Classes are long and need air conditioning during hot weather.
There are not much official holidays and like to change that

Admission:

You need to get atleast 75% at your boards and you have to apply for JEE or WBJEE to apply at our college and get reasonable percentile while you are at it and 120 seat are reserved for CSE (COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING)and seats are reserved for students from Techno India group of school

Likes

I like this college because of its in hill station and its surrounding
The learning facilities are beat because college provide us with theory knowledge as well as practical knowledge

Dislikes

The campus can be more big the infrastructure
Some faculties are worst they don't teach us properly

Admission:

As I know there are several types of application process in university like for west Bengal student they can apply through wbjee and for application to outside west Bengal we apply through Jee and Jee mains. For any type of government college the cut off range goes high. But I liked the type where we can choose our subject in which we are interested in any private affiliated colleges.

Likes

There are very talented teachers and very friendly to the students
There are some teachers the teaches very well

Dislikes

Some of the teachers cannot explain properly

Admission:

I have given the entrance exam name wbjee and i scored well and i apply for the TFW after that i get admission. There were only 9seats for the TFW students. You can find the application form in the the official website of Siliguri Institute of Technology.

SIT A BEAUTIFUL COLLEGE

Likes

Faculties are awesome and supportive and they help us a lot.
Lavish campus of the college helps us to engage with the nature.

Admission:

I was admitted through the counselling of wbjee 2023 and during counseling I chose the SIT CSE as my 1st choice and after allotment of the seat i booked it by paying 5000 rupees online in the wbjee portal and then I paid 96500 in the college as my 1st semester fees.

Overall nice college.

Likes

Campus is nice, good according to how a college should be.
Teachers are well trained and they teaches us according to our understanding.

Dislikes

Some teachers are not good they don't teach us properly.
Campus should be little big. There should buildings according to department wise

Admission:

Eligibility of the course the student must be from science stream and his/her per percentage should be more than 50 percentage in 10+2. There's a official website from where we can get all the forms and notices even new admission students can apply from the official college websites. There are many areas of improvement in college whether if it's in studying, teaching or campus
