The Life at Darjeeling Polytechnic Institute

Likes

The faculty at my institute was very knowledgeable and they were always supportive from the very beginning.
The library in our Institute had a vast collection of the books and they the registration fees for the library was very affordable.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is very bad where the lab's instruments were poorly handled.
The lab technicians were very less trained in handling the machines and in operating them.

Admission:

I had applied to Siliguri Institue of Engineering in Salbari, West Bengal and I got a confirmation from Darjeeling Polytechnic Institute. I had to apply to this institute because of finnancial problems. No, I was not rejected but I was facing some finnancial problems due to which I was not able to join the college. You need to have atleast 70% on your matriculation to be to fill up the registration form. Anyone who has above 60% in the matriculation, there is no entrance exam needed to enroll in our college.
