Review on Siliguri Institute of Technology

My interest in computer and all its modern and day to day applications, made me lead into the way to choose this course. I had a very keen interest in how a computer works as well as how programs combine together to do all the tasks, etc. Faculty:student ratio is bit fair. It's 1:15 approximately. The qualifications of the faculty members are good, as well as, their way of teaching is also fine. There are a total of 4 internals and 2 practicals, and then the semester exams. The difficulty is not much, they just want to know whether you have understood the proper concept or not, so they ask mainly basic questions, nothing that hard.

In our college, top companies like TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, ZS Associates, etc., visit the campus for internship and recruitment. The training and placement experts, eminent academicians, industry persons and the immensely successful centralised placement cell support provide valuable advice to the students to help them secure excellent placements.

Fee pattern was the same, until the NEP changed and a bit of hike came into the fee structure. Otherwise everything is good. Siliguri Institute of Technology doesn't have a very high fee structure, it is bit cheap and affordable.

The annual fest is known as SITEX and the tech fest is known as SIT TECHFEST. They are held in order to let the students have some fun and joy in between their studies. The library is huge here, as well as all books related to every courses can be found here, the library staff is also calm.

Siliguri Institute of Technology is spacious. College has spacious library and well equipped labs for every department. Canteen is located within the college campus. College campus is well maintain and hygienic. The admission process was stress free, a test was needed to be passed in order to get a seat in this college, it was an easy test.
