I chose your course according to your willingness because some of the students studied other courses but they chose high paying jobs course because of other manipulation and they got bad curriculam percentages in their course. Most exams are Easy or medium level if you are really studying about the course.

As far as mechanical engineering is concerned, a new course named FUNDAMENTALS OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING was introduced in 2021 in the curriculum of 2nd semester which provides an introduction to the course and also allows to learn mechanisms by the method of dismantling the machine and learning everything part by part. This particular was prepared by yhe faculty members of the Mechanical Department and this course is only available in SSN.

I choose mechanical engineering because I am interested in the field of manufacturing and innovation. For every semester we have to complete 6 courses for which 6 faculty will be assigned. Every class has around 60 students and 2 class per year in every department. No more than 120 students will be admitted. Most of the staffs here have completed phd in their respective fields, some are pursuing them right now. The staffs are well knowledged. They follow the classic teachings methodology where they teach the subjects in class and we have to prepare for the internal and semester exams based on the teaching in class, books from library and ppts provided by staffs online. As I started during the end of covid my course started prety late and to compensate for it lot of the holidays have been removed so far till we catch up with the usual academic time table. Before exams a minimum of a week is given as study leave for self preparation and the exam toughness is moderate.

I was interested in aerospace engineering and since I didn't get admission to the best college for aerospace I decided to take mechanical engineering at SSN as it is related to aerospace engineering. All the faculty in SSN are Ph.D. holders and their teaching is also very good. At a gap of one or one and a half months, we have the CAT exam ( internal exam). It's not very difficult to pass if we study well it will be easy.
The syllabus was updated a bit when compared to other colleges.Since it has become a autonomous most of the syllabus will be updated in future. The college life was very good with Wi-Fi enabled campus
The course curriculum is quite good and tests the students thoroughly in all aspects. But only drawback is that there are quite a few outdated courses when I was studying. But I think now that our college has become a deemed university, the course curriculum must be quite different than what I was studying under Anna University.
Yes it is feasible. The anna university approved fees structured are followed here. No more extra fees will be charged on the students. the tuition Fees 32K and maintenance cost 60K. Total fee will be around 93K. And It is ok to pay because we have a very good lawn facility Clock Tower more and more lab facilities in all ways there is no problem.

We have a decent fee structure compared to all their college in Tamilnadu. Our college selects 25 Rural students/each year and make them study without charging them... Rural students are free to study in our college.
