SSN College of Engineering Admission 2024 (Open), Cutoff, Courses, Fees, Admission Dates

SSN College of Engineering offers BE/ BTech program in full-time mode for 4 years. Candidates must have completed 10+2 levels of education to be eligible for these 8 specializations of engineering. Candidates who have sports achievements and are represented at national and international levels can also apply. They must have certificates of the achievements they have done. 

Students who are children of PIO or Foreign Nationals or NRI can also apply provided they must have completed their 10+2 level of education or equivalent. If not completed 10+2 from CBSE, they must produce a certificate to prove the equivalence of the board and qualifying examination.

 Candidates belonging to the PIO/ FN category must have the following documents while appearing for the program:

• Attested copy of the valid passport of the candidate
• Attested copy of the valid Visa and OCI card.
• Equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities.
• Proof of having studied the required qualifying subjects in English medium

NRI candidates must have the following documents;

• NRI status certificate of one of the parents 
• Employment certificate of the financial supporter issued by the foreign employer
• Relationship certificate and Attested copy of valid Indian Passport of the NRI financial supporter
• Attested copy of NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account statement for last 3 months 

Selection of the candidates will be done based on merit and marks scored on 10+2 exams and Q marks scored in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. All admissions are done following the guidelines set by Anna University. To apply, students can get the application form from the college website. The mode of application will be online.  Candidates will have to fill in the application forms and submit them online along with application fees. Candidates will have to participate through TNEA counseling for admission. 

TNEA Counselling is conducted in online mode. The counseling authority will publish the list of candidates who can participate in the counseling rounds based on TNEA scores. Candidates will also have to make fee payments to participate in the counseling. Payment of the counseling fee can be done online through Net Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Card. After successful fee payment, candidates can start their choice filling for SSN College for their desired branch of engineering. After filling the choices in the decreasing order of preference, candidates will have to lock their choices through the same login. Once the choices are locked, candidates cannot modify the list. If the candidates select the choices and cannot lock, then it will get locked automatically. 

Following this, various rounds of counselling will happen. If allotted, candidates must download the allotment letter and move to SSN College of Engineering. This allotment will be done based on rank and seats available. Once they reach the college, they need to pay the final admission fee. Following are the documents candidates need to carry for verification with originals and photocopies during counseling and reporting at college

• 10th Mark Sheet
• HSC Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates
• Transfer Certificate
• Permanent Community Certificate for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC, and BCM (either Permanent card or electronic form / digitally signed e-certificate)
• Nativity Certificate (only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) (if applicable)
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• First Graduate Certificate (only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)
• Srilankan Tamil Refugee certificate (if applicable)
• Candidates who have applied for special reservation

SSN College of Engineering offers ME/ MTech programs under PG Domain and admissions are done on the basis of merit. Preference will be given to GATE top scorers and high marks scorers in the universities. Candidates must have BE/ BTech degree or equivalent from any recognized university as a basic eligibility criterion for admission.

Candidates will have to apply and register for the TNEA Counseling. After the submission of test scores, the counselling authority releases the list of candidates eligible for the process. Make the relevant fee payment for the counseling. After the fee payment, fill in the desired choices of specialization for SSN COllege of Engineering. Lock the choices if reviewed and wait for the final allotment. If alloted for the desired specialisation, freeze the option and take the allotment letter print out. Reach the institute for the final admission procedure with the relevant documents as mentioned below:
