If you're from outside Tamil Nadu, you'll need to take a management test and aim to score above 90 out of 100. After that, there's a general interview. They typically focus on your extracurricular activities, sports involvement, and how diverse your background is.

For your school marks, it's good to have at least 95% in PCM if you're in State or CBSE boards and 90% if you're in ICSE. As for SNU, it's managed by the same team and located on the same campus, so you can expect a solid academic atmosphere.

To get into SSN College of Engineering for Mechanical Engineering, I applied through TNEA counseling based on my 12th-grade scores. The admission cutoff for this course is typically around 190+. For those looking at management seats, there's an entrance exam followed by an interview. The process is pretty straightforward, and I found it to be manageable as long as you prepare well for the entrance.

I chose SSN because it offers good faculty and decent placement opportunities; many companies come for placements in the later semesters, with an average package around 6-12 LPA depending on the company. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're interested in mechanical engineering.

I got admission to SSN College of Engineering for Electrical and Electronics Engineering through the TNEA counseling process. The college considers your 12th-grade marks, and for management seats, there’s an entrance exam followed by an interview. The overall admission process was smooth for me.

I find the faculty supportive, and they simplify complex concepts well. The placements are decent, with the highest package being around 22 LPA in recent years. However, I wish there were more internship opportunities as I’ve heard they are somewhat limited. But the campus life and clubs here make up for it, so it’s still a good choice.

Getting into SSN College of Engineering, particularly for the Information Technology course, was through TNEA counseling for me. The cutoff for getting a seat was very competitive, and I had to secure a good rank. If you are opting for management quota, there’s an entrance exam and an interview process. I've heard that the college has a solid placement record, with companies like HCL and Google visiting frequently. The highest package was around 1.17 crore, which is impressive. I think the combination of a strong curriculum and placement opportunities makes SSN a great choice for IT students.
