Placement Experience:

Campus drive starts happening from the 7th semester and they do provide placement training in the 6th semester. Companies like Avalara, HCL,cognizant, Comcast, valeo,ashok leyland ,L&T have visited but this year the number is slightly low .The highest package offered by the company was 22 LPA and average is about 7 LPA

SSN has good placement opportunities compared to all the other colleges in Chennai. They have provided huge opportunities for students and students are placed with extremely high packages. They have provided a good package for Computer Science and Engineering as well as which falls under the domain of electrical and mechanical very well and the average package was 6 lpa. They bring lots of good and reputed companies for placement and the placement process will be decided by the respective companies like exams interviews group discussions and its personal interviews etc. Even students of core jobs like mechanical have got an opportunity to get placed with 12 lpa.

SSN has a very good placement cell compared to other major colleges in the city. Every year consistently more than 95% of students appearing for placements get placed. This year majority of the students are placed with offers more than ?10,00,000 per annum in CSE and IT departments. Mostly 98 percentage of the people get placed in our college through campus interviews , rest of the people pursue higher studies in abroad like USA , Spain , Germany , etc... they also provide better internship opportunities for students in their pre final year , talking about the average package , they vary for department to department , cse people get 18-24 lpa every year as their average lpa , on the other core people like mech , eee people get 10-12 lpa as average package, so overlall the the average package of the college remaining around 14-16 lpa
