SSN has good placement opportunities compared to all the other colleges in Chennai. They have provided huge opportunities for students and students are placed with extremely high packages. They have provided a good package for Computer Science and Engineering as well as which falls under the domain of electrical and mechanical very well and the average package was 6 lpa. They bring lots of good and reputed companies for placement and the placement process will be decided by the respective companies like exams interviews group discussions and its personal interviews etc. Even students of core jobs like mechanical have got an opportunity to get placed with 12 lpa.

This college has very good placement records.Last year highest package was 88lakhs per annum and the before year 1.08crore. They also providing placement and training class from the beginning of first year itself

In my college, it is compulsory to do an internship at the end of 3rd year. This can be done in a few ways: 1) A handful of companies come to college and recruit students for internships and based on their performance in their internships they may be provided with a pre-placement offer (PPO) to join the same company as a full-timer at the end of the final year. 2) There are companies that come and recruit students just as interns, these are generally lesser established companies but provide a good stipend for students. 3) Students who are interested are motivated to take up research internships in various universities. This year students pursued their research in prestigious universities like Carnegie Mellon University, Indian Institute of Technology, etc.

Students get internship during their pre-final year. As im a first year student i dont know much about the internship offers provided to the students.but the college helps much for students who are interested to get internships. There are seniors of third year who go for internship,so there is a lot of opportunities to get internships

In civil engineering, you will have a mandatory internship that needs to be done for atleast a month. The faculties will help you get an internship and you'll be given various roles based on the company like site engineer, estimation engineer, billing engineer, research fellow.

There were many internship opportunities from Paypal, Fidelity, Citi Bank and few more with stipend from 35k per month to 1L per month. all the companies preferred working on both front and back ends and some on data warehousing.
