The cctv camera near washroom in girls hostel makes me uncomfortable sometimes.
Mess food is little bad, i couldn't eat after some period. I more often skip going to mess and paid money to them. Every weekend i go home but still i have to pay mess fees.

Hostel Facilities:

There is different hostel rooms based on the students requirement they can choose particular rules such as there are shared rooms as well as individual rooms in individual they is also subdivisions like with them without AC with UN without balconys every room has different fee structures so based on our requirement we can choose the rooms so individual rooms have more privacy than we have facilities where two of them can share a single room or three of them can share a single room and the rooms are pretty decent not to bad and they clean the cause of flows everyday and the Bear is a good bathroom facilities and lights are also prediction and only thing I like about the hostel rooms this the curtains are pretty good and we have a mosquito net helps the lord during night time or during the winter time.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is okay.There is also ac rooms available. Hot water is available in the morning for bath.Drinking water is also good.For the mess it has two categories,general -3300/month and premium- 6600/month. The food is also good.

The hostel is good , You can choose your hostel according to your wish , and depending upon your financial condition, they maintain the hostel very neat and clean , they have appointed wardens for each hostel to take care of the students needs , they have also appointed workes to clean the hostel corridors and toilets . Talking about the Mess , you can opt for either premium or normal , they both vary in cost and menu , both are good , you can choose accordingly to your financial condition . So there are hostels like 1) single room non AC 2) single room with AC 3) single room with attached bathroom with balcony. 4)3 sharing with common bathroom 5) 4 sharing with common bathroom 6) 4 sharing with common bathroom, with AC There are playgrounds for the students who stay at hostels , they have basketball court , football ground , tennis court , hockey court , volleyball court , indoor badminton, table tennis, they also made room for playing games like chess , and carrom , you can also take gym which cost like 6k per semester with AC , equipments which are in good condition and a gym master who is well Trained and has knowledge about fitness. The other facilities in hostel like water , electricity are good they have 24 hrs access , and also they proveid well maintained study rooms for students with AC during evening times .

There is a wide range of rooms. Shared with 3, single, single ac, single with attached washroom, single ac with attached washroom. The mess food is not so great but it can be managed with the canteen and cafeteria on the campus, unfortunately. The registration process of hostels can be done during the fee payment only.

My experience in ssn

Hostel Facilities:

Three students share a single room in the basic hostel room. Lighting, fan, cupboards, power service, ethernet, bed and chair for each one of the students. There is a shared common washroom for every student. The mess meal has a routine menu where most mornings are idli, dosa, Pongal and puri whereas the lunch mostly consists of rice and sambar or curry, the dinner is dosa, chappati, biriyani, etc., We are also provided with chicken 3 times a week and egg twice a week. The basic hostel costs around 70k whereas a room with ac and a separate bathroom costs around 1.7 lakhs. During the document verification visit you should book your hostel rooms. There are many other options such as PG or a rented room within 3 km but the compulsory bus fees make it an unviable option.

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is so good compared to other colleges. It has solar hot water facility so that u get hotwater 24/7. There are shared rooms as well as single rooms with and without both AC and restroom. Mess food is the best. It is of good quality and both veg, non veg is available. Registration process is on the spot during the day of admission. I did not rent a room, but some of them whom i know rented rooms from kelambakkam which is around 20min

During the admission process, there is an option for a hostel you can select for registering for a hostel room. The hostel is inside the college itself.

Review about SSN SOM for MBA course

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel is good and not bad. There are 2 types of rooms. One is with AC and toilet attached and the other is without AC and common toilet. The hostel is compulsory. The meals provided are not bad. The registration process is very easy and simple and 90000 for 1 year. No PG room/ rental as the course is a Residential course where you should stay in college.

The hostel is inside the college campus and is about 750 meters from our campus. The infrastructure of the hostel is also very good and the ambiance is also good.

The hostel life at SSN College of Engineering is worth remembering. It is a place that unites all the students and builds innumerable memories apart from different cultural and financial backgrounds, therefore giving you a family-like feeling away from your home. There is complete privacy and freedom for all the students.

All the hostellers are attracted by the ambiance and at the same time, the hostel gives a complete study environment to all the students.
You end up making lots of friends with whom you can interact and exchange gossips regarding the various happenings.
There are different groups with whom you can debate on topics like cricket, or football leagues, discussing things regarding studies and whatnot.
The mess is not that good so students eat mostly in various cafes or streets building memories with friends.
Battling for water is one of the funniest incidents that often happen in the hostel. Students don't take bath for 2-3 days, which is considered part and parcel of college life.
The rooms are well-ventilated with comfortable cots so that the students feel very lazy and sometimes miss the morning class.

The hostel life at SSN College of Engineering is full of freedom, it is solely your responsibility to use that in a particular way. You should create a perfect balance between your fun and studies and at the same time, you can enjoy college life to the fullest.
