Remarks
My college is the best private university in Tamilnadu, next to CEG(Anna University) and PSG (Coimbatore). It has amazing infrastructure facilities and well-equipped faculty members and state-of-the-art campus for its students. Also, the placement in SSN, is good for various streams, not only IT sectors, but core companies also visit our campus and recruit students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good and tests the students thoroughly in all aspects. But only drawback is that there are quite a few outdated courses when I was studying. But I think now that our college has become a deemed university, the course curriculum must be quite different than what I was studying under Anna University.
Placement Experience
Placements are amazing, for example during my batch various OEM's like Ashok Leyland, Royal Enfield, Caterpillar, TVS, Brakes India, Wheels India, Renault Nissan came t=during the final year for placements. More than 90% of the people got placed with 56 people getting placed in core companies.
College Events
The technical symposiums in our college is one of the biggest in South India. All the 7 streams in my college conduct various events across 3 days in this tech-fest called "INVENTE". Both educational and fun activities take place during these 3 days. The cultural event in my college is called "INSTINCTS" and is one of the prestigious events in our college that is conducted every year in a grand manner. Dance, music, comedy, theatrical shows are held during the three days and at the night times Dj nights will be held.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides scholarships to meritorious students based on their performance in the academic end-semesters exams. Top 6 students get scholarships of 100%, 50% and 25% worth of their tuition fees as scholarships to these students. Apart from that there is a "Walk-in Walk-out" scholarship that is provided to the students who score state level rankings in their 12th board examinations.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is amazing. We have a 250 Mbps speed Wi-Fi connection which is present for 20 hours a day. Apart from there are many sport facilities like basketball court, cricket badminton courts, tennis courts, football stadium and even a cricket stadium also. In fact the cricket stadium is so well maintained that many Ranji trophy matches are conducted in our college.
