The review about my college RIT KOTTAYAM

Likes

The things that I like was helping mentality teachers.
There are so many activities and programs going on this college
And especially the evenings after the class,we will engage in playing variety of games.

Dislikes

The most dislikes is the distances from one place to another
There are lots of dogs in campus which may make the night life bad.
And also there are lots of workers who stays in our campus at night.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise fees is 10000 for tution per year and around 3000 per month at college hostel. At first there were some fees which includes caution deposit and all, it was around 12000 ath that time and also the caution deposit at hostel was also nearly the same.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester onwards you are eligible for campus placement.But you must not be having any backlogs.companies which come here for placement includes L and T,IBM CIC ,G10X etc.Percentage of students getting placed depends upon the department you are choosing.

College experiences

Likes

Department facility is good.. Lab facilities excellent.. Washroom both gents and ladies are good
Cafeteria and canteen are nice..foods and tea also good
Teachers and classes are good.. And library include many type of books helpfull for acedemics

Dislikes

Department distance are long.. So difficult to reach one department to another
Department closing time 6.00..we want to extend closing time
in college many dogs.. So some its dangerous for health

Placement Experience:

Fifth and sixth semester students are eligible campus placement..many companys are give placement offers like cognizand, IBM CIC, MTSOGO, electrifex, GEODIS, 6D technologys and many good company s all over world

A College Diary

Likes

My college have very large area so we can spend free times with good atmosphere
Faculties and study material are really appreciable.
College library has almost every good and important books.

Dislikes

Distance between departments is a bit long.we have to walk some distance from department to other department and to office
College auditorium is very small. It can't accompany all students in college.
Departments will be closed at 6 pm. It should be open till 9 pm

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited are Thejas Network LTD, Tata Elxsi , QBurst, Geodis, L&T, Tarento, Litmus 7etc... The highest and average package as per company and profiles offered are 12 and 4 LPA. About 40 to 50% of students are getting placed. My plan after getting the degree is working in any form for two years and then study MTech.

RIT KOTTAYAM COLLEGE LIFE

Likes

Festivals and programs are the main attraction
Great facilities like gym,table tennis court,ground
Great infrastructure and experienced faculties

Dislikes

College located in rural area.Have to walk a lot.
Politics in college and in mens hostel .
Disturbance of dogs and mostly at night in college and hostles

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester,Campus placements are offered.The highest package offered was 14 lpa and the average package was 2 lpa in almost all government colleges under KTU.More than 75% of students are getting placed.

RIT - KOTTAYAM HONEST REVIEW

Likes

The college surrounded by lots of trees in 60 acres. For each department there is separate building blocks are there.
The faculties are highly qualified and the lab facilities are of high level quality.
The hostel facilities are so good, they provide good food at cheapest rate and free wifi.

Dislikes

I had faced water scarcity in several times in a year.
The college authorities does not allow vehicles inside the campus

Placement Experience:

The placements in these colleges are quite good. The percentage of placement will depends on the market condition. This year around 150 students are secured placements with an average package of 4.5lpa. They provide good aptitude , interview training.

Likes

Very good placement cell and good placement ratio.
Campus is very close to nature and very calm atmosphere
Very descent night life that makes us to walk night

Dislikes

Less availability of shops after 9pm and we have to go long
Department are scattered, so we have to walk long to get other department friends
We have to maintain 75 percentage attendance

from the seventh sem, we can sit for placement. Taranto, IBM, Tata Elxsi, L & T, TCS, Qburst, Infosys, Wipro, Geodis etc. 50 percent. after my degree, I would like to write us and get into the navy or the merchant navy.

Placement Experience:

The placement facility is not that good. For the mechanical department, less placement happens on core companies more placements are for CS AND MTECH DEPARTMENTS. TCS, BYJUS, INFOSYS, AND TATA EXLSI COME HERE YEARLY. The placement cell is working hard for this
