Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum gets updated every three or four years.So the syllabus is very much updated.In a year there will be two semester exams.Every six months there will be university exams.Exam difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

From seventh semester onwards you are eligible for campus placement.But you must not be having any backlogs.companies which come here for placement includes L and T,IBM CIC ,G10X etc.Percentage of students getting placed depends upon the department you are choosing.

Fees and Financial Aid

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam is a government engineering college in Kerala.Fees for a year is around 13,000. This includes all your tuition fees,lab fees and exam fees.Scholarship like e grantz are available.

Campus Life

We have our technical fest called Ritu and cultural fest called Keli.We have a separate library building in addition to that each department has its own library.You could get any book from the Library.

Admission

My first preference with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam.Two main reasons were the college was near to my house,so I could go by bus.Also RIT is one of the best engineering colleges in Kerala.

Faculty

Faculties in our college are highly qualified and very experienced.They are always present to help us in our need both academically and non academically.Exams are conducted twice in a year.Exam difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Night Life

We have gym,cafeterias and libraries inside our campus.Library closes around 5pm.Class starts at 9 am and finishes at 4pm.In men's hostel you have complete freedom to enter and leave at any time.Nightlife is good in our campus.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Best engineering college in North malabar

Placement Experience:

Placement is average .top MNC except Google and Microsoft comes here.examppes are Infosys,TCS,Shobha construction etc.average package was 4 lpa some gotabove 10 lpa some students got more than one placement .no of offers made was about 300.from s6 onwards students become eligible for placement. Placement training is very good in the college.about 40 percentage got placement oncampus.highest package was 15 lpa.minimum package was 3 lpa.
