An overview of RIT

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Review about my college

Likes

The attitude of the faculty members towards the student
Also the discipline followed in the college is just good.
Also the course teaching method is very relevant.

Dislikes

The college ground is not much developed.
The college is not under CCTV surveillance.
The college premises are not much used appropriately.

Internships Opportunities:

The college itself do not provide any internship opportunities. The students themselves have to find out one. This help the students to get more connection with the world into which they would have enter after completing their course.

RIT: the opportunities for achieving the dreams.

Likes

Good physical education department.Gym facilities are available .
Good library blockand each departments has its own separate library facilities
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology has good college vibes

Dislikes

Amenity room in some departments are not that good
The bus services is very much in poor condition.
The sports facilities in our institute lacks many facilities.

Internships Opportunities:

Top companies which come to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam include L and T,G10X ,infosys. The roles offered are supervisor and technical supporters of the coordinate manager. They also provides the stipend for the internship.

The overall experience about Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam is very good.The pass percentage is on top 5 considering other collages in kerala.Due to the increased academic result students who are joining the collage are increasing year
Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam offers a variety of course which includes BTech degrees,MCA, Architecture,MTech etc..Btech degree includes BTech in Mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics, computer science,robotics.and Mtech for all
As said each branch have there own department, in every department they have there library so students can take the required books other than department libraries a main library is provided by the collage with a huge verity of book which helps studen

Internships Opportunities:

There are different types of companies are coming in collage to provide intership oppertunity. students have to do a main project based on their branch and can do min project for attaining a government knowledge and solve challenges and improving their skills and most of the companies are giving importance to the main project that is done by the students

RIT CAMPUS : THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES

Likes

The faculties of over institution is highly qualified and many of them has phds in various research fields.
The discipline and well behavior of staffs and students are awesome.
The campus is full of greenary and that makes me got a postive fresh mind when i came to the campus.

Dislikes

The college bus services are very poor and many of them may even work properly.
The public transportation facilities are not much accessible in that locality.
The standard of the food provided at the canteen should be improved and the cost should be reduced.

Internships Opportunities:

The main companies that offers internship is cochin shipyard for a duration of one or two months.The stipend they provide is around Rs.15000.The main role offered there is the supervisor who monitors each and every production unit of the companies. The projects are the ship model buliding i had monitored.

The quality of faculties in each department in top tier. Very dedicated
Labs and workshops are very very good...

Dislikes

Lack of basic facilities sometime and their cleanliness

Internships Opportunities:

There are lot of interesting internship coming up. Mainly computer related. Even though im a mechanical student, i participated in a ai workshop provided by iste. It was one of the coolest i did. Made me have a keen interest in ai.

Some faculties were below average and not understanding
Some Classroom facilities were boaring like boards
Toilet facilities were below average and poor

So many companies like KSEB provide internship opportunities They help us to understand power stations,power plants etc...College provide internship opportunities very well and they promote all the companies.

Life at RIT....

Likes

Well maintained class rooms and surroundings
Upgraded technologies in class rooms especially in labs
Clean and safe toilets ,there are college staffs for maintenance

Dislikes

Need to renew the old buildings, infrastructures
Need a change from black board to white board
Mostly it's a hill top area ,so a transportation within the college is needed

Internships Opportunities:

In last years college provides placement facilities and Internship opportunities. College provide placement training and mock interviews for those who are interested in getting placement.. The projects and there outcomes are really helpful and useful.

Yes ...there is so many internship opportunities In 2024 scheme there should a compulsory intership needed. Collage make facilities for internship Too many companies are ready to give internship to students Private and government sector internship are available
