Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Admission:

I applied for several other colleges also via keam portal and I was alloted this college,it was my 3rd preference along different colleges. You have to pass keam exam and achieve around the top 10k ranks to get a seat in mechanical engineering at rit. Cutt ofs may vary depending several factors.

Likes

The attitude of the faculty members towards the student
Also the discipline followed in the college is just good.
Also the course teaching method is very relevant.

Dislikes

The college ground is not much developed.
The college is not under CCTV surveillance.
The college premises are not much used appropriately.

Admission:

Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Technology is one the finest college in Kerala. It is located in Kottayam. The locality and the appearance make me to pick it as my first option. The information i got from different sources are pretty good that's why i opted this college over others.

Likes

Good physical education department.Gym facilities are available .
Good library blockand each departments has its own separate library facilities
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology has good college vibes

Dislikes

Amenity room in some departments are not that good
The bus services is very much in poor condition.
The sports facilities in our institute lacks many facilities.

Admission:

Inorder to get into Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam you have to write an exam called keam.Keam exam is conducted every year.If your rank is below ten thousand rupees you have a high priority of getting into our coege.

Likes

The college has a lot of cultural and technological fests conducted by students and teachers every year.
Every faculty in the college are well educated and they teach very efficiently.

Dislikes

There are dogs wandering in the college (not so many,but some) .
The departments are situated far from each other .Each departments are some distance away from each other (almost 200m).

Admission:

I applied to other private colleges first but after I got rank to join this college I put this college as my priority and made along with it.Other colleges didn't had a good placement opportunities for students.This college have a placement cell and works good(not excellent).

The faculty members are very well educational qualified and are well experienced.
The college has a very good learning facilities.
The college has a good placement services.

Dislikes

There is a delay for repairing of infrastructure when some damages occurs.
Need to focus more on extra curricular activities other than academics.
Needs to 8mprove on developing skills of the students.

As said each branch have there own department, in every department they have there library so students can take the required books other than department libraries a main library is provided by the collage with a huge verity of book which helps studen

Admission:

Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam is one of the top five colleges in kerala. Choosing this collage is one of the best option to build the career.rather than studies college give importance for students for relaxation which provides different fests like tech fest art fest etc..it is a good strategy for refresh students mind and attitude and for increasing their skills

RIT CAMPUS : THE LAND OF OPPORTUNITIES

Likes

The faculties of over institution is highly qualified and many of them has phds in various research fields.
The discipline and well behavior of staffs and students are awesome.
The campus is full of greenary and that makes me got a postive fresh mind when i came to the campus.

Dislikes

The college bus services are very poor and many of them may even work properly.
The public transportation facilities are not much accessible in that locality.
The standard of the food provided at the canteen should be improved and the cost should be reduced.

Admission:

The admission process is completely through the kerala engineering entrance examination portal and we are opting different colleges for getting admission through this portal. I opted different colleges like GEC kannur,TKM and CET. I took the admission in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology kottayam because the mechanical engineering department of our institution is the top among the colleges is kerala.

Lack of basic facilities sometime and their cleanliness

I also applied for mechanical engineering in MA kothamangalam, model engineering collage, GEC thrissur and CET Thiruvananthapuram. I got admission to MA and Model collage. I think RIT is better in every aspects. Hence RIT

Some Classroom facilities were boaring like boards
Toilet facilities were below average and poor

Admission:

I prefer all the government colleges due to financial issues.I think this college provide very much facilities to sports as well as extra curricular activities.It improves our skills.KEAM is required to get admission
