RIT - KOTTAYAM HONEST REVIEW

In my personal opinion the curriculum is outdated. They include basics topics from all aspects of mechanical engineering but most of these are oudated. They did not include enough software lab that are relevant in current scenario to get a job

The placements in these colleges are quite good. The percentage of placement will depends on the market condition. This year around 150 students are secured placements with an average package of 4.5lpa. They provide good aptitude , interview training.

A fee of 20 thousand is appicable per year including exam fee without any scholarship. For sc/st students they don,'t need to pay any fee or their fee is 100% refundable under e grantz. And also they do need to pay hostel mess bill. For obc,oec students egarntz scholarship provide most of their fee.

The college has great infrastructure including 2 mens hostel, 3 ladies hostel ,college ground, basketball court.etc..There are lot of technical and non technical clubs, so students can engage in these activites depends on their interest.

The college hostels are so good with facilites and food. they provided at cheapest rate. They are lot of private hostel near the campus. The admission to the college hostels are through allotment process there are some factors which will consider during allotment such as distance from hometown,caste, bpl etc..

For admission you need to get a good score in KEAM, after that you have to give list of colleges you perfer to join along with branch. you will get admission only through allotment process, There is no management seats

The faculties are highly qualified most of them garduated from IITs or NITs. There is no faculty shortage for any deparment. The faculites are free to approach regarding doubt clearance and guidence. The one and only negative thing i have noticed that some faculties does not provide soft copies of there materials.
