ALL ABOUT RV COLLEGE FROM ITS OWN STUDENTS

Likes

The college has a great crowd ,seniors are very approachable, they help u whenever u need help
There are 2 canteens one small and one big both has great, affordable food which are open till 11 at night and big canteen has a lot of variety of food

Dislikes

Since the college is under construction therefore we are not able to visit 20 percent of college including 1 ground and sports complex
Since parking lot area comes under construction zone therefore remaining ground is made parking lot in which cars are parked till college hours

Placement Experience:

the on campus placements are decent since its one of the best college in banglore therefore most big tech companies come in rv college so there is a good chance u will get placed in rv but due to emmense competition u need to do some extra projects to over shine your resume since i am from EEE my brach placement is 10.8 lakh but if u get in CSE or IS your avg package will be around 19 to 20 lakh which is great considering most colleges cse branch dont cross 15 lakh line and if u want to go for higher studies there is lot of oppourtunity due to the great alumini network due to which u can get a referall in your dream college in which u want to got to

The college has well equipped labs and the placement scenario is also very nice.

Dislikes

Sports facilities are very limited. No indoor stadium.

Placement Experience:

Internships and placements starts from fifth semester onwards. There are more than hundred companies in different fields which visit the college every year. Almost more than 70% people gets on campus offers. So overall the scenario is good.

In depth Review of RV College of Engineering.

Likes

There are a lot of Facilities available around the college.
Better connectivity due to Metro and Autos which gives us exposure to a new city

Dislikes

If you plan to take hostel be ready for not that good mess food because it is bland and it gets repetitive.
Currently as of 2024 there is a lot of construction happening in our college campus which may make it irritating.

Placement Experience:

Talking about my Branch (Electrical and Electronics Engineering ) I would say the placements are improving year by year and average package is quite good but since the course is very hard, maintaining the CGPA becomes a difficult task due to which the placements get affected.After getting the degree I would go for higher studies.

After third-year students are eligible for placements and many companies come to RV college as it is the top private college in Bangalore. Many companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture, goldman sachs come to my college. more than 98% percent of students are placed in my college. i would most likely opt for higher studies after the degree that is completing my master's in the USA.

Placement Experience:

Maybe around 7 sem you will place in good placement there is no need of thinking about placement on your college, around 30 to 50 companies visit every year, a highest package from EEE is 24 LPA, average os around 6 LPA, almost all students gets placed in good company, my plan to gets good packages from my skills

Decent college with great palcements

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are very good. Case avg package is 18 lacs, ece avg package is 12 lacs. Other departments also have a very nice placement record. Even IEM has some people getting 30 lacs. The highest package offered is 60 lacs. The lowest package is 4 lacs.

Our college is famous for placements only. Every year a lot of students get placed in the big companies. As our college is in Bengaluru so it's a plus point as Bengaluru is the IT hub of the country. The highest package is 53 lakh per annum and it was offered to a student of the CS department.
