RV College of Engineering admissions are purely based on Common Entrance exams, followed by Counselling. The institute offers B.E. at the undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, RVCE Bangalore offers M.Tech & MCA courses. Candidates with a valid score in KCET/ COMEDK UGET can apply for B.E. admission. For M.Tech, applicants can submit their GATE or PGCET scores. Admission to MCA will be done based on KMAT/ PGCET scores.

RVCE B.E. Eligibility
The minimum requirement for applying is mentioned as follows:
- Candidates must have passed class 12th with at least 65% in Mathematics and Physics separately.
- Also, they must have obtained at least 70% marks in Maths and Science separately.
RV College of Engineering BE Selection Criteria
- For selecting candidates, R.V. The College of Engineering considers the KCET exam scores for those who are residents of Karnataka.
- For students from other states, the selection depends on exams such as COMEDK or other national-level entrance tests.
- Applicants with a valid rank in any of these exams must appear for the respective counselling process.
- KCET-qualified students are required to attend KCET counselling conducted by KEA, while COMEDK qualifiers must attend COMEDK counselling. During counselling, applicants must fill in their preferred choice of college and course.
- Seats are allotted based on the choices filled and the scores obtained in the entrance exams. Approximately 45% of the seats are filled through KCET, 30% through COMEDK, and the remaining 25% through the Management Quota.
- Selected candidates must submit the required documents and pay the prescribed fees to confirm their admission.

Mainlyfor choosing this college no other colleges providing the high package placcements comapring to the other colleges and they can provide internships . The faculty will guide us through the college ends thats the best faculty I ever seen in other colleges.
And the Admission proccess also very smooth and easy to apply and joining for the course.
I apply this college firstly only they accepted myprofile.
The other colleges has didnt have this much facility for placements so I chose this college.

I actually had a thought of joining to other colleges in my UG to do my JEP course later somehow I joined the same college as I was studying in pu in the same college. Later in my PG again I thought I will join jain college or kristhu jayanti but because of Sharada Ma'am I wanted to come back to the same college and i never regret my decision.

RVCE is considered to be the top most college of bangalore. Bangalore in itself is an IT hib and rvce was the right choice to get oppurtunites and learn new skills and values.
Other colleges were also good but none matches the legacy of RVCE here in banaglore

As a student at RV College of Engineering (RVCE), I chose this institution over many others available through the COMEDK exam because of its outstanding reputation and strong industry connections. The admission process was straightforward: after completing my 12th grade with required subjects, I sat for the COMEDK UGET exam, which is a common entrance test for numerous engineering colleges in Karnataka. Despite the higher tuition fees associated with COMEDK admissions compared to state quotas, I believed that RVCE's emphasis on research, innovation, and excellent placement opportunities made it the best choice for my engineering education.

College was coincident I know plan of joining law but at the end moment at decided to do law or engineering so I did not had enough time to apply for other colleges all College were almost fulled they were few Limited seats available in this college and this college had a good name because of the RV Engineering so had asked few peoples and their college the college is good but I can't fit in if you are more over study and won't care about the campus and life then this college is actually pretty good in terms of Academics and the exposure

Well RV is in Bangalore, it was near and easy to travel. I got bits goa economics, but my parents said RV is good so i joined.And the economics course was a 5 year course.So i chose this.I wanted to join electronics anyway.I tried for ec but i got et , so i joined in the first round of allotment.U can come through kcet, comedk, management.

I got admission in VITEEE and all colleges of COMEDK . I didn't go there because of high intake of VITEEE and among COMEDK colleges RVCE happens to be the best .
The eligibility for giving comedk is 12th pass and minimum 75 percent

I had 2 options nmkrv and christ college. In christ college the admission was full so was unable to get the seat . I got seat in nmkrv easly and admission process was also easy fee was under budget for bachelor in science students should have taken science subjects as majors
