Life in DAPM RV dental college

Likes

Good infrastructure and good healthcare facilities
Good sports and other extracurricular activities are good
Most of the staff are friendly and support us

Dislikes

There is some partiality they provide more marks for some people
Some people recive more practical marks for jonreason
Some people quota are approved very quickly

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel is not that bad 2 people in one room meal in message is not that good it's average and some pgs and rental homes are also available near our college nearby food places are also good for food and other stuff

Good faculties and good facilities provided
Clinics are well equipped with instruments
Curriculum is well planned with 3 internal assessments before final exam

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not that good they demand more
Sometimes partiality is seen according to my experience
Two students had lost their record and one was a nepo kid whos parents are dentist she was let go easily while other girl was told to complete the record again

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel yearly fee 84000 and mess 4500 to 4650 per month Meal is average breakfast is good lunch and dinner average good food on festival occations Registration to hostel is through college office Pgs are also available for both boys and girls nearby college

Hostel Facilities:

1. Bed, study table, study chair, bucket,mug,1 fan, 5 lights,super luxurious bathroom with shower and 24/7 hot water facility. 2.meal quality is very good, mess area is pretty clean, taste of food is just awesome, many types of snacks are available, and no non-veg. 3.for registeration to hostel at the admission time itself they will write u r name in a book if u want and they will provide it when u want to join in the college, 155000 is worthy for the hostel they are providing. 4. There are many pgs available around the campus for both boys and girls and most famous one is stanza pg, u can access that pg by the campus back gate.

honest review from a 1st semester student from another state .

Likes

weather of the city it is situated is really good .
The placement stats of the college even for the lower branches is good .
Opportunity for higher studies is good in the college.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities like they only had 250 beds for first year and intak is approximately 900 .
infrastructure is small and also sports facilities is not too good

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facilities of this college is not good like they only had 250 beds and students are more . They have made a new hostel 3 kms away from college and have bus facilities but it takes 20 mins to travel by bus . Students go for the pg's near college which is a better option for saving time .

Best college I ever seen

I felt RV as a best college. The way of teaching by lecture is awesome. They are friendly with us, they help and guide us all the time
The infrastructure of the college is good. I never expected this type the environment of college is also good
We saw best placement in our course. Oye seniors almost all selected through the campus

Dislikes

The thing I dislike is they won't conduct much programme and all like co curriculum activities sports and all
One thing I disliked is the college canteen food.
We have to invest more on our projects itself even we already paid in the beginning of the college

Hostel Facilities:

In our room only 2 share is provided. Which includes two bed, two cupboard one mirror and two study table set up. The menu quality of our hostel is awesome they provide varieties of food and snacks. The registration process requires we should pay 66k and 34k seperately for mess. I stay in krishna garden rvce girls hostel.

RVCE The top college of Karnataka

There are many technical clubs for each niche area, the main famous one's are like Ashwa the racing club, Antariksh the space club, Ncc, Nss, Rotaract and many coding and robotic cubs.
As this is a top college of Karnataka placement opportunities are very good more than 200 companies come for placement and cs and is have highesr packages of 60 lacs and ec also has max placement of 50 lac and an avg of 15 lac.

Dislikes

Due to construction of new building there is lot of dust and campus is bitin chaos.
As Rv university is coming up in the same campus playing grounds and indoor grounds are not there at present but are coming up

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is nice here with an annual fees of 90k+30k rs which covers the stay and themess food for 2 semesters, the rooms are 2 sharing for the first 3 years and single rooms for the 4th year student. The mess food is good with varieties but is only veg a big monthly feast ishiven every month's last sunday.

About RVCE-What I felt!

Likes

The college is in the outskirts of Bengaluru and thus is peaceful. If you want to commute, then Pattanagere metro is alongside college. So travelling, there is no problem. the campus is green. At weekdays, you would find solace.
I live in Cauvery hostel which is an inside campus. So I can go to classes on time without having to bear the pain of waking up early. In hostel I have made friends from different departments. Being boys we waste quality time together.
We have a library which has vast collections of books, volumes, journals, publications, But very few number of students study rigorously.

Dislikes

The college campus though adequate to accommodate the students of all branches and years, is not as big as prominent NITs, leave IITs. It is a small 15 acre camous with four hostels- Cauvery, Krishna, Chamundi, and DJ.
We have to be inside the hostel by 10 pm, you'll have to sleep outside.
There is no ragging. I know you all will be thinking that I am a prejudiced person. But in an engineering college there should be some minimal ragging which brings discipline in the juniors. IITs have very good tradition of ragging.

Hostel Facilities:

I live in cauvery hostel. In a given room there are two inmates. We are given with two study tables, two beds, two almirahs, and there is a windown in each room. The bathrooms and toilets are common not attached. We have five floored hostel.To eat food we go to ground floor to mess. There is self service. Breakfast is from 7 to 9 am, lunch from 12:30 to 2:30 pm, snacks from 4:30 to 5:30pm and dinner from 7:30 to 9 pm. In breakfast we get Idli Vada, Puri Chole, Set Dosa, Masala Dosa, Uppit, Shavige uppit, Paratha Chutney, etc. In lunch we get chappatis, rice with different sabzis and rasams, pappad, amd curd. In dinner the same is given with some juice or seet sometimes. We get oreo, good day, samosa, maggi, mysuru bonda, sandwich as snacks. The registration process is quite simple. If there is a vacancy, go to hostel office and apply for rooms and after DD room is alloted.

Academic structure is excellent. They train you with updated and latest skills. Industry needs and emerging cources are also tought.
You will get chance to select two subjects as electives so that you can enjoy learning the things which do not relate to your branch.
You will get exposure to various clubs and get lot of opportunities for your future endeavors. Clubs in RVCE are excellent and you will get good experience there

Dislikes

All the lectures are not good at teaching.
Infrastructure is not soo good but tolerable.
They will try to suck your in all the ways. ( like they conduct skill lab sessions for about a week, for that they charge extra 20 thousand rupees.)

Hostel Facilities:

2 sharing room. Meals are good but same food is given the whole year which repeat at every week. So even though food is good you will get bored. Book your hostelseat early otherwise you won't get. Fees is high 123000 per annum which is fixed,even you stay for one month. Out of 1.23 lakh 90 thousand is for accommodation and 33 k as mess charge

Likes

My college is known for its placement offers.the highest package in this college is 92 lakhs , and average is 35 .
The clubs and seniors are very supportive here
Oppertunities for internship , skill based course provided by college

Dislikes

The entertainment stuff of the college is not poor
Lack of systematic academic activities like internals and exams
Poor infrastructure, we can see many construction going in and around campus

Hostel Facilities:

Poor hostel facility my hostel is 3 km far from college it is not inconvenience to travell . afternoon lunch will not be provided and there is no washing Machine.but still we r paying 115000 only hostel

Hostel Facilities:

There are 4 hostel in the campus to accomodate all years student of RVCE and RVU .There is a single mess where all meal is happening .At the end of every month there is a month end feast where good food is being served .Now comes the other part sometimes they make really same food ,here I am talking about gravy and the food also being a north Indian is below standard .The South Indian food are expectedly good here .

Yes, RV College of Engineering has the facilities of the Gymnasium in the hostel. RVCE Bangalore facilities include separate hostels for girls and boys with fundamental necessities, sports, gymnasium, library, transportation services, medical unit, wi-fi enabled campus, etc. Apart from these RV College of Engineering Bangalore facilities, students can also avail banking services inside the campus. In addition to these facilities, RVCE Bangalore also provides ramp and lift facilities to help the differently-abled and sick. 90% of the classrooms in the institute are provided with multimedia projectors and an internet facility.
