Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum are very well designed keeping the industry need into the mind. There are three monthly tests in a semester followed by lab exams both internal and external and then finally comes the semester end examinations. The difficulty level of the exams are moderate to difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Companies comes for internship from 4th sem itself and there are relatively more IT companies than core. The average stipend offered is about ?50000 per month. And usually the internship duration vary from one month to two months.
Placement Experience
Internships and placements starts from fifth semester onwards. There are more than hundred companies in different fields which visit the college every year. Almost more than 70% people gets on campus offers. So overall the scenario is good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee of the college increases almost around 15% on yearly basis. For my batch i.e. 2021 it will cost me roughly about ?20 lakhs including everything like tution fees, hostel, stationery, travel, etc. Scholarships are there mostly for home state student. Very less scholarship are there for outsiders.
Campus Life
There are different fests like 8th mile, E cell event, Kannada habba, etc. Which occurs very frequently in the college and also increases the beauty and the popularity of the college every year. There are different technical as well as non technical clubs in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is quite expensive but provides more secure and hygienic environment than pg, etc. The mess food is not so good to eat. It is just okay to fill the stomach. Nonveg is not provided in the mess. But you can order it online and have it in your hostel room.
Admission
I got the admission in this college based on my COMEDK rank. The admission process involves online counseling, fee deposit, document verification followed by one day long documentation in the college. There are different ways to get admission also like sports quota, management quota, physically challenged quota etc.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:10. All the faculty are highly qualified and have unmatched knowledge in their respective fields. They are approachable during the college hours and some of them can be contacted after college also on the mobile.
