They will also help anyone preparing for UPSC ESE or GATE.
Our college is equipped with a lot of good professors who knew the subject in depth.

Dislikes

Some teachers were arrogant and stubborn.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio for electrical engineering department was roughly 60 to 1. And our college will carry out internal exams just like MAKAUT guidelines which is 4 internals per semester and the internals exams are just like mock test for university exams. Do well in the internals you will do well in semester exams as well.

MY COLLEGE'S REVIEW

PROFESSORS ARE VERY HELPFUL. EVERY DEPARTMENT HAVE THEIR OWN FACULTIES. TEACHERS TRY TO HELP US IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. THEY ALSO GIVE NOTES AND SUGGESTIONS IN EVERY DEPARTMENTS FOR STUDENTS TO PASS IN EXAMS.

THE FACUTLTY STUDENT RATIO IS 4:10. IN MY FIRST YEAR THERE WERE 4 TEACHERS IN EVERY SUBJECT. THEY TAUGHT US 4 DIFFERENT TOPICS TO FINISH THE SYLLABUS. MOST OF THE TEACHERS ARE VERY HELPFUL.WE GET NOTES AND SUGGESTION IN EVERY SUBJECT ON EVERY SEMESTER.THE TEACHERS ALSO HELP US IN ORGANISING VARIOUS CLUB ACTIVITIES.

MSIT KOLKATA COLLEGE REVIEW

Faculty to student ratio is quite good and helps in doubt solving. I personally loved my DAA teacher Soumya Suvra Khan and Computer Organization teacher Lopamudra Dey who unfortunately left for higher studies. I didn't like the BSH faculties and the faculties of Mechanical department as they used to think us as the student of their department and used to pressurize and bully us during lab exams and Viva. There are 4 internal systems exam and 1 end semester exams conducted by MAKAUT....the university we are affiliated with. Those who study well can clear all exams

The relationship between faculty and student is good. The faculties are well educated and helpful. I liked Biswajit Maity sir because of his approachable teaching style. Exams are taken semester wise. Exam difficulty is moderate. 60-65% of students pass all the subjects.

Insights of MSIT

College has mixed facilities in terms of there teaching qualities. Some of them are good and some of them are very bad .And in 1st year, there is no department subject and name of the course is BASIC SCIENCE AND HUMANITY. Each semester university conducts 4 CA exams before semester exams.

The number of faculty members are sufficient for the students to handle. The students gets their attention quite well by the teachers, students can easily approach the teachers for study and other purposes. My personal favourite teacher was Namita madam from English literature department the way she made us learn English in fun way improved the vocabulary in large manner. The exams took place in their usual scheduled times 2 sems per year along side CA exams 4 times in a year. Unit and surprise tests were also conducted in between.

A decent private engineering college to pursue B.Tech

The faculty to student ratio is good enough . I can't tell the exact numbers but we don't face any issues regarding this. Every faculty member of my department is pretty helpful and I have no objections . There are two semesters exams every year and in every semester there are 4 internal tests for theory subjects.

REVIEW OF MEGHNAD SAHA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Faculties are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful.

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 5:22. Faculty to student relationship is good. Faculties I liked are Pritam Chandra ( Department of EC), Anirban Bose (Department of ME), Sarmee bose (Department of BSH), Jayita Pal (Department of BSH). I like them because of their behavior and teaching style. There is no such faculties I did not like. Exams occur twice in a year (in two semesters). The difficulty level is decent. Pass percentage is approximately 65%.
