A detailed review of MSIT, Electrical Engineering department.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise fees that I paid was close to 1 lakh. The tution fee per semester was roughly 43000 and added to that there was a library fees which was 500 and student welfare fees which was 750. The caution deposit was 20000. The management category students paid way more than us (who joined via WBJEE). The scholarships which was available was SVMCM and WBFS.

OUR COLLEGE IS U DER MAKAUT UNIVERSITY. WE HAVE TO STUDY VERY HARD TO PASS THE EXAMS. ONE BACKLASH ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY IS THAT IF A STUDENT HAS TAKEN VERY GOOD EXAM,HE/SHE CANNOT EXPECT TO PASS. THE ANSWER SCRIPT CHECKERS CAN ALSO FAIL THE STUDENT.

MY FEES FOR IS 89K PER SEMESTER SO THAT MAKES IT 720000 RS FOR FOUR YEARS. I BELONG TO THE GENERAL CATEGORY. I DIDN'T GET ANY SCHOLARSHIP AS BOTH MY PARENTS HAVE GOVT JOBS. THERE ARE SEVERAL SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS. MOST OF MY BATCHMATES HAVE GOT SVMCM SCHOLARSHIP AND THEY GET 60K PER SEMESTER BUT THERE IS ONE REGULATION, THEY HAVE TO GET MORE THAN 6 CGPA WITH NO BACKLOGS IN EXAMINATIONS. STUDENT CREDIT CARD ALSO ALLOWS STUDENTS TO PAY FOR THEIR COLLEGE FEE WITH MINIMUM INTEREST RATE.

When I got enrolled in 2023-24 the fees was 625000 for 4 years BTech CSE(AIML)....with years it increasing like our juniors are paying around 7 lakhs. This is for merit and for management quota is 10 lakhs plus Now for TFW candidates whose family income is less than 1.5 lakhs for them the fees are quite less around 10000 for whole course

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fees currently is Rs 697000 and my first semester i had to pay Rs 95000 with gst and in my second semester i had to pay also Rs 95000 with gst . And from 3rd semester it is around Rs 84000. The fact that college is increasing its fees is undeniable. Before the 4 years total was Rs 450000 five years ago and its increasing since then. If someone gets admitted with TFW(tution fee waiver) there are much reliefs in terms of fees is concern. They just have to pay only Rs 10000 per semester. There are many scholarships available but the most popular one is SVMCM that gives Rs 60000 per year based on the cgpa of each year.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The detailed fee structure is 7 lakhs ....which i think will i think it is affordable for many students more than average students and due to our goverment polices it is easier nowadays to approach it

The total fees of my course is 6.25 lacs .The yearwise fees is 1.5 lacs approximately. In my course the admission fee was 96000 rupees including 1st sem fees uniform library charges and all. For civil and mechanical branches the amount is a bit lesser. We can avail svmcm scholarship if we fulfill the requirements.

Dislikes

The fee is higher as compared to other colleges in West Bengal.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The total fee for my course is Rs. 625000. For the first year the fee is Rs. 178000. For the second year the fee is Rs. 147000. For the third year the fee is Rs. 149000. For the fourth year the fee is Rs. 151000. The college fee is increasing year by year. Registration (MAKAUT registration) fee is Rs. 2700. Exam fee for every semester is Rs.1200. College fee for TFW category is very less as compared to general category students. Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means scholarship is available for eligible students.
