Things i like is that my college is far from the city have natural enviornment .
College provides placement for the students who are skilled and deserving

Dislikes

College does not provide any playground .
Students does not feel motivated to come to college .

I want to get enter in the field of the computer science and coding .I just want to become a software engineer who is independent. In my college life of aprox 1.3 years i have done html, css, python and c++. I want to learn javascript which is most demanded language in now days . I daily gives 1 our of my time to learn coding.

Likes

Very good surrounding view and campus with fresh air
Faculty is very friendly, supportive and joyful.

Dislikes

Very less shops in campus and transportation issur
Food quality in mess is very poor. And no leave is taken is mess

Course Curriculum Overview:

Syllabus is very poor. As a btech student in cse we should do coding but there is very less coding in our syllabus. And we are studying yoga and evs and economics in our course which I don't think is relevant.

Likes

Campus of the college is very nice as it is located on a hill witha beautiful view
Teachers and faculty is very good and nice and students are very decent and friendly

Dislikes

Less shops and transportation difficulties
Hard water and hostel is not for everyone

The curriculum is not updated to mark as I am in 2 nd year but still studying history and economic which doesn't mean anything to mean I want something practical and useful and the teaching way is also old school and most of the time youtube helps

Teacher are good means help student in each and every way
Environment is good here it is situated at top of mountain so which is good .

Dislikes

The college has no ground for playing games like cricket.
The college provide less cultural event .

In this there is cse(ai&ml) so there is trend in this now a days so i choose. Due to this i am learning new thing and how to live alone. There must me more labs in collge and more exposure to practical knowlede must be provided. 3 hours paper and 60 marks.

Clear Point of View.

Likes

First and foremost, faculty's expertise and teaching method is the most appreciable thing I must say. Most of the faculty is dedicated toward their work and always ready to help the students. And they don't put a lot of pressure on the students
There is a sense of security in college related to ragging and all that stuff. Environment of college is peaceful.

Dislikes

The very first thing I don't like about this college, is there no proper ground provided for performing any sports activity. College ground is approximately 3km far from college and that is located near the polytechnic college.
Infrastructure is not that eye catching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum and frequency/timing of exams are good. There's not much to complain about. But there should be more practical knowledge. Teaching methods are good except 1 or 2 of them who just read out through ppt.

Affordable college in the mountains with good facilities

Likes

The weather and view from the college is very good sundernagar lake and nearby mountains elevates the view
College canteen is fairly affordable and and has high quality items and prices are also reasonable

Dislikes

The teaching style of some of the AP's can be a bit subjective
The college is situated at a height from the main city which results in less options for shops and only 3-4 shops are near without climbing up or down

The courses offered by the college are good and teaching methods have good real life applications for jobs and higher studies The faculty of the ece department is very good both in nature and their field knowledge The teaching can be improved on some teachers end about less textbook info bus personal experiences The frequency of exams is understandable and difficulty is also not so high

Likes

Scenic location is a plus point of JNGEC. It is located on top of hill which gives a whole view of the city. It have a really nice weather during winters.
Infrastructure of this college is really great. Spacious classroom and good facilities.

Dislikes

Since its located on top of a hill reaching there is quite a hassle. Most people take Autorikshaw to go to college but its not feasible as daily transport.
It take quite sometime to reach city from college. Eventhough it's distance not that much walking feels exhausting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They have followed Nep which implement latest curriculum and subjects have latest knowledge. It have mix of theoretical and practical knowledge that help in real world scenarios. It may need to exclude things that no longer needee or used. Timing of exam leaves us with enough time to prepare but extending it would be good too.
