Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology - [HIET], Kangra was established in 2010. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). College is Ideally located on the foothills of Dhauladhar Ranges, on National Highway 20 (Phatankot – Manali) at Shahpur, which is 25 kms from Kangra and Dharamshala, towards Phatankot from Gaggal.

I take addmission in this college through the entrance exam and you can also take admission on the basis of the plus two percentage. You can also take admission through plus two non medical in 3 semester directly

I had given my HPCET(Himachal Pradesh common entrance test) to take admission in engineering college. There is only one thing that I didn't like in admission process is there is lots of reservation seats.

This college is very good for studies and other activities and I hear many good things about this college so in the basis of my plus two percentage i got admission in this college and i am happy in this college
The admission process was based on hpcet marks and also on class 12 marks. Application form can be found in hiet.co.in. No, I don't want to see any improvement in the admission process. Yes, reservation benefits are given to obc, sc, and st caste.
The admission process was very as if Himachal institute of engineering and technology is an online College in my locality which is affiliated with HPTU. I directly visited the campus for admission and admission was based on JEE mains marks and class 12th marks The cut-off for admission was 55% marks in class 12th + appearance in JEE mains exam
College is at good location College teaching staff is very good College campus is very good Fees structure is very good Transport facility is available
There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
