HPTU offers admission to various UG and PG courses through HPCET/ GATE/ JEEMAINS Entrance Test. 1. Application Process:
- Admissions will be conducted through counselling based on merit, category-wise reservation, and applicable norms.
- Candidates seeking admission must apply online only through the prescribed application form. Candidates can visit the University website for the submission of the application form for counselling- cum- admission.
- Applicants must carefully read and strictly follow all instructions before filling out the form.
- Candidates can fill in all the important details (Only applications submitted before the last date and fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be considered).

2. Application Processing Fee:
- Through the National Level Test–2025 / Qualifying Examination, the Application processing Fees for General / EWS / OBC are INR 1600 (Non-refundable) and Application Fees for SC / ST / BPL are INR 800 (Non-refundable).
- Through both National Level Test–2025 and HPCET–2025, the Application Processing Fees for General / EWS / OBC are INR 1600 (Non-refundable) and Application Fees for SC / ST / BPL are INR 800 (Non-refundable)
- Candidates applying only through HPCET–2025 are exempted from the application processing fee.
