actual life of JNGEC Sundernagar

Likes

the fee structure are affordable for any one and hostel are also very cheap
they also help student to build cinfidence as many event are there so a person can loose his stage fear
the support of teacher for students is very good

Dislikes

i would say that the computer labs are not in very good conditions
the computer are not even advantageouos for aiml student
the infrastructre is not that good even no wifi facility

Admission:

As this collage comes under the HPTU hamirpur so there are wide range of optioons to select but it provide ml course which has booming carrier and also fee of this course in this collage makes it more reliable for all

The environment is good and the location of the college is also at the top of hill. It provides a clean and pure environment.

Dislikes

The campus is not so big. And there is no hostel facilities for girls and we have to face many obstacles in the rainy season

I have low percentile in Jee. So I have no options left that is why I took admission in this college. The college is good if you work on yourself individially. There is no exposure for palcement and internship.

So the good was the nature was very good
The place was very quiet and best for learning
The faculty of the college was very cooperative

Dislikes

There was issue of the electricity it was not good
There was the issue of the water it was not good
The other issue was the road to the college was not developed at that time

Admission:

I choose this college becuase it was the government college and parents wanted to study in this college though i was preferring the private college but it goes into it but i learnt various things in there

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

Likes

The teachers are good and teach well with notes and live tasks. They are always open to help in class or after class
Campus life is fun. We have clubs, sports, fests and events. I made good friends and joined coding groups
The labs are clean, and we have working PCs, a big library, Wi-Fi and a good study hall. No big tech issues.

Dislikes

Job help can be better. Many firms visit but most are for CS/IT only. Other fields get fewer offers
The food in mess is not always good. We need more clean and healthy food on daily basis.
Few smart boards in class. Need more tools for modern and online class use

I applied to AKTU, IPU, and a few private colleges. I got selected in 2, but picked this college as it has low fees, good teachers, and fair job offers. Seniors also gave good reviews about the labs and coding help. Yes, I could not get a seat in IPU due to low rank. I was close but missed the cutoff for CS. My JEE score was not high enough. I did not apply under spot round as I had already joined this college. Admission is based on JEE Main or state test like HPCET. Cutoffs differ for each branch. You need to pass 12th with PCM. I took HPCET and got in through state round. Process was easy and docs were checked online and in college.

A good college in good environment

Likes

The campus is really good and I really enjoyed in my campus
The faculty is also very good and cooperative
The labs are proper and practical work is done very properly

Dislikes

The ground is small but now the another ground is made inthe back
Sometimes canteen food is over in night so I don't like it. But the new canteen is opening next month
There is library provided for every department but I need a one more library for all the students too.

Admission:

I directly apply for this college and I didn't apply for any other colleges. I choose this college because it is affiliated with Himachal Pradesh Technical university so we get the government degree. You can directly apply for the college or you can give an exam name HIMTU entrance exam.

Jawaharlal Nehru government engineering college

Likes

Focus on academics and some faculty members .
The location of this college is awesome you get a nice view of sundernaga lake from it .
Hostel facility is good except some water shortage sometime.

Dislikes

Hostel mess is not upto the mark and the food is also not good
The careless behaviour of the students towards academics and class
There are very less extra co curricular activities.

Admission:

I chose this college because this was near to my house and on subject of my marks in the jee mains and hpcet I got this college .this is the top college in hp state government engineering college after nit.

Our College has best infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh

Many sports competiton organised with winner eith cash prize
Many fest is organised by my college and behaviour of everyone in fest is so good
Infrastructure of my college is tok good and teachers are friendly

Dislikes

6 hours of lecture and every lecture is compulsory
Students will be detained if not doing good in mid sem

Admission:

I had also applied for jngec sundernagar but mu marks was not enough to get admission in that college but this college is bettern than jngec No I don't get rejection from any other colleges Student have to qualify jee mains and hpcet examination to get admission in my college

I like the campus of college which was very big and enlarge.
I like the faculty and the teachers of college.
I like the the playground where very various types of grounds are available

Dislikes

The facilities in college is not very great.
The faculty of civil engineering is not complete.
The sports faculty of college is very cheap and doesn't provide enough facility

Admission:

I choosed this college because it was a newly built college so I thought it would be a great college to choose and pursue my path Asin civil engineer but when I join the college I realise that the faculty of civil engineering is not complete.

In ranking our college it is given a good rank among other colleges in himachal pradesh. I applied for many colleges through hpcet and got jngec as it has a good rank among other colleges. I also gave jee mains and advance but wasn't able to get admission in nit or iit. For jngec, one can give hpcet exam

College campus is very huge and spacious
Teacher are very very supportive and very intelligent
Every facility is available that is needed to do engineering

Dislikes

Some teachers just don't care about students
The system of detain is very stressfulll
My class is in top floor so there is no lift it is been under construction

Admission:

For admission I gave test of hp set and in counciling I got this college.U can also apply in the basis of your jee result.there are onlye 80 seats in a college for a perticular brach. And it is very hectic process of giving counciling as it takes 1 full day approx 16 hours
