College is good if you only want degree at affordable cost but its not for you if you want to enjoy your college life.

Likes

Library is very good. You can find almost all the books related to the course and it also contain the books related to various competitive exams.

Dislikes

Mess food is very bad. Quality of mess food is below average.
Equipements in are not up to the mark. Equipements in the lab are either

I applied for this college as it was affordable and has a very good reputation in the past but now it not that good. I didn't applied in any other college as it was suggested to me by some of its previous students. At their time it was a very good college but now its not.

My college Journey.

Likes

I like about the college that its location. It is located in Hilly areas.
One more thing i have liked about the college is its fee structure which is very less as compared to otger colleges.

Dislikes

Most disliked thing is its infrasture.It is too bad.
Staff is not highly educated. Most of them are hired as contract basis.

Admission:

I have chosen this college due to fee. As I wanrt to do engineering and in private colleges I had checked and find there fee too high so i decided to take admission in this college as fee iss less and also this is a government college. If i talk about admission procedure so yku have to take HPTU entarance exam to get into this college and also you can take admission in this college basis on JEE numbers.

I have chosen this college as this college is really affordable secondly the teachers are so supportive and the environment and surroundings is really healthy there is no disturbance around us. Eligibilty is that a student must have passed 12 with the minimum passing criteria

My college has all facilities like library placement internship etc.
It is everything fresh and clean that enhances the environment for study Better

Dislikes

The playground of my college is very very small. That has to be improved
The road for the college is broken and cars are not able to reach the college

Admission:

I want to apply the nit ( national institute of technology ) but I can't get enough marks in the jee mains so I give the hpset exam for this college and join this college I didn't get rejection from colleges but it is the best and top of the colleges in hp only few can get the opportunities to join this college The student has to pass it's University test that is hpset and next method is jee mains

College facility is good teachers are nice in behaviour
It is located in middle of mountains for nature lovers it is good location

Dislikes

The college is still building and some of the labs are still close
Facility is good but for some of the subject teacher is not arrived

Admission:

I have give jee main examination but haven't get any seats in any NITs and GFTIs . I got this collage by applying for spot round in hptu . Students can get addmission by applying hptu counseling ther is 50% seats for jee mains and 50% hpcet students

The faculty of our college is very supportive
The infrastructure is excellent,smart classes and other things are in our college

Dislikes

Sometimes some experiments are not done well
Sometimes faculty also donot understand the students need

I give Jee mains i selected in this test and i feel the counselling form and fill three colleges name in first counseling i choosen for Mahatma Gandhi engineering college jeori ,but i rejected this college because there is no campus for this college soo then I choosen for Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering college Sundernagar district Mandi Himachal Pradesh

Things i like is that my college is far from the city have natural enviornment .
College provides placement for the students who are skilled and deserving

Dislikes

College does not provide any playground .
Students does not feel motivated to come to college .

I got selected here on the basis of HPCET . It is best college under the HPTU university . I have choose this college beacuse i wanted to become an software engineer. I didnot reject other college i just want to get enter this college.

All the labs are very beautiful and proper and clearness.
Campus is very beautiful. It's almost about of 6.6 acres.

Dislikes

There is no playing ground in the college.
Mess people's are not cooking good food .

Admission:

I opted this college because this college is the oldest college in the Himachal Pradesh and this college has he will branch and very good staff of Civil and placement structure is also very good of civil engineering.

Very good surrounding view and campus with fresh air

As when I went to the HPTU counselling. I secured this college as the best college and happly I got seat over here and I am very happy that and it is the best college so I selected this college. There is no other best college under hptu university
