HPTU Faculty

The college has a faculty of 20 members for approximately 350 students, maintaining a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:20. Among the faculty, there are 5 MBA instructors, all PhD holders, with a gender distribution of 2 females and 3 males, aged between 30 to 45. The marking scheme involves two sessional exams per semester, contributing significantly to final grades. The exams are generally medium to difficult in level, with a 70% pass rate.

Faculty members are approachable and supportive, offering guidance in both academic and skill development areas, including communication skills. The overall teaching approach is dedicated, with a focus on providing quality education and practical knowledge through field visits and interactive sessions. However, some concerns include the need for more practical skills in the curriculum and occasional issues with accessibility to faculty members.
