Friendly staff and teacher and very helping in studies as well as in other activities
The college organise a variety of festivals like annual festival and technical festivals .the campus is well equipped with sports activities .
I had admitted to that university i got selected with a good cut off and i was expected to be.

Dislikes

We have to do penalty of work and study to do
The infrastructure of the college is not so nice.
The local people interrupt in the college activities

Likes

The infrastructure of the university is very well furnished and modular.
The washrooms are very neat and clean and the infrastructural improvement is continuous.
The faculties and the technical staff for the main campus studentsa are very helpful. They are experienced in their domain.

Dislikes

There is not dedicated sports area or the playground area.
The university has not their own bus or the transportation service.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Comprehensive experience at my college

Likes

The staff is very good, whole staff is well educated, experienced.... they are so focused and encourage students to focus on their goals.

Dislikes

Girls hostel is inside the campus........
Infact girls hostel is on office of the college
Cafeteria options are limited.............

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to go in medical field... I want to work in the company from starting ..I want to make medicines...and help people to diagnose..cure ..treat them... ....,......... There should be long internship program included in Pharmacy course

Likes

All faculty members are nice and very good.
All labs are fully equipped with machines and instruments.

Dislikes

Road is not very good so poor connectivity.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took civil because is good and all teachers are on there post and are very good. Civil engineering plays very important role in construction of buildings and dams etc. Exams are mostly held in September November and December for odd sem and for Even sem it is feb April and may.

Campus is very good and nice view from college
Faculty is polite and very helpful and kind

Dislikes

Very less internship and placement option
Very slow wifi speen and only 1 gb per day

Course Curriculum Overview:

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

the fee structure are affordable for any one and hostel are also very cheap
they also help student to build cinfidence as many event are there so a person can loose his stage fear
the support of teacher for students is very good

Dislikes

i would say that the computer labs are not in very good conditions
the computer are not even advantageouos for aiml student
the infrastructre is not that good even no wifi facility

Placement Experience:

so as the first batch of cse ai ml is going to passout this year so there is no record of placement but hoping that their placement would be good as per teacher's expectations and also they provide intership in iit mandi

The environment is good and the location of the college is also at the top of hill. It provides a clean and pure environment.

Dislikes

The campus is not so big. And there is no hostel facilities for girls and we have to face many obstacles in the rainy season

Right now I am in the first semester so I have no idea about courses but my core branch is Cse(AI-ML). The teachera are good in their subject but some of the teachers are biased. They give internal assesment to their favorite students. The exam pattern and timing is good

Honest One !

Likes

So the good was the nature was very good
The place was very quiet and best for learning
The faculty of the college was very cooperative

Dislikes

There was issue of the electricity it was not good
There was the issue of the water it was not good
The other issue was the road to the college was not developed at that time

Placement Experience:

To be honest about the college placements only there was around 2-3 companies which we serious other companies were just training institutes they just came to promote their courses , at last many students were unplaced

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

Likes

The teachers are good and teach well with notes and live tasks. They are always open to help in class or after class
Campus life is fun. We have clubs, sports, fests and events. I made good friends and joined coding groups
The labs are clean, and we have working PCs, a big library, Wi-Fi and a good study hall. No big tech issues.

Dislikes

Job help can be better. Many firms visit but most are for CS/IT only. Other fields get fewer offers
The food in mess is not always good. We need more clean and healthy food on daily basis.
Few smart boards in class. Need more tools for modern and online class use

Students can sit for job drives from the 7th term. In our college, firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit. Most jobs are in coding, support, or test fields. The top pay was around ?10 LPA for a dev job. The usual pay is 3–4 LPA for most jobs. Nearly 60–70% of CS/IT students get jobs. Core jobs are less for other fields. My goal is to work for 1–2 years in tech and then go for higher study or skill-based role in top firm or startup.

A good college in good environment

Likes

The campus is really good and I really enjoyed in my campus
The faculty is also very good and cooperative
The labs are proper and practical work is done very properly

Dislikes

The ground is small but now the another ground is made inthe back
Sometimes canteen food is over in night so I don't like it. But the new canteen is opening next month
There is library provided for every department but I need a one more library for all the students too.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. In our college VIHAS TECHNOLOGIES, VIPRO, and many more companies visits. Highest package is upto 6-7 LPA and average packayis 4 LPA. you need to get over 7 CGPA. I want to get a good package.

Jawaharlal Nehru government engineering college

Focus on academics and some faculty members .
The location of this college is awesome you get a nice view of sundernaga lake from it .
Hostel facility is good except some water shortage sometime.

Dislikes

Hostel mess is not upto the mark and the food is also not good
The careless behaviour of the students towards academics and class
There are very less extra co curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is below average as compared to the other private college but if compared to the return on investment then the placement is average .as it's average lies between 3-6 lacs and hisest is 12.
