Friendly staff and teacher and very helping in studies as well as in other activities
The college organise a variety of festivals like annual festival and technical festivals .the campus is well equipped with sports activities .
I had admitted to that university i got selected with a good cut off and i was expected to be.

Dislikes

We have to do penalty of work and study to do
The infrastructure of the college is not so nice.

our college is in a very nice an peacefull place
our college is olny 3km away from the highway
our college has nice infrastructre and beautifull buildings

Dislikes

is that our college is in village type area
also people near our college are villagers which charge very high for pgs
sex ratio of our college is nearly somewhere around 1:4

College is located at very beautiful destination and has great view of its surroundings. I
The hostel is very near which is very good for hostellers as they can easily reach college and can schedule themselves according to themselves.
Most good part is essential friends those are very essential part of college life.

Dislikes

College has poor road connectivity and almost the road is closed on the name of construction work for more than 6 months.
The guards,mess management and various other higher authorities are very bad and are highly arrogant.
Very less functions or any other events are organised for past 3 semester we have only celebrated Holi and teachers day but no other event is being organised by college authorities main event called as twask has not been organised since 2 years.

7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Most companies related to textile industries come for placement as it is one and only one government college in Himachal which offers textile engineering. The average package is about 6,7 lakhs Almost 30% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to pursue for my further studies

RGGEC: All pros and cons

Likes

The campus here is so big its about in 30 acres
They have separate block for every branch
High tech smart clasrooms with smart boards and air conditoners

Dislikes

Campus is far away from nearest city about 4 kms away
Hostel is available for one year only after that you have to see other options like flat
Poor management of girls hostel mess but boys hostel mess is better as they have cooperative mess

Placement Experience:

This is a govt finded college and there are very less placements and that too in third class companies but civil engineering studets have a very good ratio of clearing government test like the 2022 batch upon passing out the students of civil engineering branch out of 70 students 45 secured a govt job of grade a gazzeted officer so i guess thats better than a private job

The degree you are pursaing is four years which you want to done many branches are in this college are like mechanical engineering, civil engineering,computer engineering Computer and science, and marching learing

Positive and negative of rggec college

Likes

Research innovation: Rajiv Gandhi encourage research and innovation with various centers for advanced studies and research in various fields like engineering management . The infrastructure of this college is very nice .
Students learned from others thus enhancing comprehensive and retention by activating prior knowledge making connections and consoling new ideas the campus of this college is very nice
The infrastructure of rggec nagrota Bagwan is very nice very large campus. It has a wide campus of 24.72 acres

Dislikes

It is settled near a small river which overflow in rainy season
Nothing to be disliked in this college faculty is very nice
The college is under construction for buliding of b arch. And computer science block

Placement Experience:

300 -400 students gets good placements from this college every year students of 7th sem is eligible for placement in various sectors. Every year companies like Mahindra sonalika HCl cona etc visited here for students placement.highest package of this college is 15 lakh and average package is 5 lakh that everyone could get from this college

Vast campus, the campus is very big with many blocks
Campus has different blocks for every different branch
College provides opportunities for many sports as volleyball cricket badminton table tennis chess and many more

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very good as it offers electronics workshop for the very beginning of the semester which makes the student learn about basics of electronics such as soldering desoldering PCB and many more

The best college of hills in Himachal

Likes

Play ground for the students are in better condition to play
Infrastructure is very good in the college and everything which is required for study in available
Fess structure is not too much people can afford

Dislikes

Many senior student do not behave good with juniors

Rggec beautiful college

Likes

Beauty of campus attracted me at first greenery and good infrastructure of buildings.
Shops and gym nearby provides a vreat facility for me
The faculty specially of the civil bramch is best.

Dislikes

The hostel is only for the Ist year students.
The auditorium is in construction but will be done soon
A little problem is that the roads needs to be repaired nearby.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course was taken by my known people who further became jee . The faculty teaches us greatly. The improvement according to me is not there. Exams are regular. There are two mid semester exams of each subject.

Best college I ever see

Likes

Faculty is very good and supportive and teachers help student any time. .
The infrastructure of college is very good and the view is very good.
Many fests and events were arranged ind college, such as night fests etc.

Dislikes

The college is 3 km away from main highway
Computer science faculty is not available here.
Core branch professors are not available in electrical branch

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is very good in our area. There is shortage of faculty in some courses. The timing of exam is around 3 hours and the exam is not so tough. After this course some students will pursue M tech.
