Course Curriculum Overview

4

My intrest of study was Civil engineer since starting days when I was in 12th. So there was no any problem to choosing me the this course. My course encourage me to make the world more reliable and since my profession is to construct and give more contribution to the constitution field. The lab and the practical work should be improved and thus it can help students to generate more knowledge as they require.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the college was privately owned by the business of that City. The course fees was very different of different students. Many students were guided by several education consultants in several countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and also different north states like Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland, mizoram. Also the students from UP and Bihar were there and all have their different fee structure. but the average fee structure was 40000-60000 per semester for the students out from the states and was 30000-40000 for local students coming from the similar state. There was some scholarship for the local female students. Sone amount of scholarship was for the students belonging to sevreal categories like SC & ST. Some scholarship was provided by the government of Sikkim & Manipur for their students. No merits were given for the students scoring Good scores in the End semester examination rather were recognised by a certificate by organising a function in a college compound.

Campus Life

3

The technical fest was celebrated every year after the end of Even Semester examination. The freshers party was organised by the students of 2nd year for the upcoming students. Several program was made like celebrating teacher day, statehood day, Engineering day and all. The lab were not fully equipped as they were required according to the course and the library was also not provided with good materials as per the requirement of several courses. The playing ground was provided for playing cricket and football. Small Vollyball court was present and many boys and girls was able to enjoy their likes. The basketball and Badminton court was also present to enjoy the evening by the hostelers. No any social group and clubs were present over there. Some sorts of social work should be carried on over there for the students to learn and achieve in the future.

Hostel Facilities

4

The was hostel was not equipped with the several facilities as were told during the admission process. All sorts of gym equipment was not provided to us. The wifi facility was not given to us. The promise of giving hot water during the winter was very limited, like we were olny provided 1hour for the 100s of students to take bath with hot water during winter season. The food quality was good and was provided with several items on several basis. The admission process of hostel was directly from the college management system, and was quite affordable as well. The locality was quite good for providing the rented room or Pg. I had to been to but my some of the freind had done it and I had went there for sometime.

Admission

I had not applied in any onther colleges. Since I was known to a officer of the management system. Since he guided me to take admission over there. The reality was little different than itvwas shown during the admission time. Like several facilities and equipment was not there and also the management behaviour was changed after the admission process. The admission process was quite easy. You just had to be cleared in 12th examination and the good score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th board. No any entrance exam was taken although different courses was directly choosen by the student.

Faculty

4

The faculty members were not enough as per requirement of the course structure but altogether it was ok. All the facilities teachers were nice to and good to students as well. They were not highly educated as required. Mostly were graduated from the same college and was doing job in same college. The lab was not fully equipped but was ok for general information. There was a mid semester examination organised by the college and was fairly done and was not too easy or hard to say. Somehow 30% students fail to pass the the examination.

Night Life

3

Night life was ok for the college all I can say. The cafeteria was open till 9pm and hostel mesh was open till 10pm. Although library used to be closed after 6pm evening. The college class timeing was from 8.30am to 6 pm. The hostel entry for boys hostel was 7pm and that of girls was 6.30pm. The locality was not very safe during night due to being forest and hilly areas. The dangerous fact was of being captured by any wild animals. But was ok to roam in college compound at night. Also gym as opens to students till 9pm So I can say night life at my college was good and enjoyable.

Students can sit for job drives from the 7th term. In our college, firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit. Most jobs are in coding, support, or test fields. The top pay was around ?10 LPA for a dev job. The usual pay is 3–4 LPA for most jobs. Nearly 60–70% of CS/IT students get jobs. Core jobs are less for other fields. My goal is to work for 1–2 years in tech and then go for higher study or skill-based role in top firm or startup.
