Remarks

As I am graduated last year I miss the college a lot and as am studying for competitive exam and future jobs if I got any doubt or anything I just go to college and my teacher really help me out. A helpful and cooperative college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well the college provide a very good infrastructure for study. They also provide each and every equipment and the things which you required for study purposes. They also provide you the industrial review and suggestions for training in industries and sometimes the placement also be done.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Well I don't see a lot of placement from the college if I have to say about placement then the college provide only 10-20% placement and other is our own struggle and I am still struggling. About internship well the teacher only give the ideas and just provide the way and the rest is our own struggle.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well the fee per semester is 35000-40000 i:e 70000-80000 a year. We can directly submit in college or we can submit in bank account of college. Well the extra fee is for the hostel charges and the college also provide the tranport facilities but they take charges for this.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes it provides the 100% scholarship for low income students+SC ST students and interstate students.

Campus Life

The campus life is too good. 5-6km far from city. A cool place to study with no disturbance. The nature provide a beautiful environment for the study. This college is for both boys and girls. They provide a total security for the students and the whole campus is sealed only one entrance and exit. We have different caste religion students studying with us.

Hostel Facilities

No I don't opted for the hostel. College provide the seperate hostel for the boys and the girls. The PGs are near by to college opened by the nearly residential people. The hostel charges is 25000 per semester or I don't know I never opted for PG and Hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Well the college senior are very helpful. The ragging is strictly prohibited and their is 0% ragging in the college.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.
