Remarks

i think this is the decision of my parents because last year my cousion tppk admission there and also my favourite University this university is very famous in himachal pradesh some students clear their test and took govt. jobs like JE SDO This university is located in Chail Hills in a very good location students came there for study from different states like sikkim arunachal pradesh j&k etc.

Syllabus is too updated because teachers are NIIT retired we also have done extra classes because syllabus is very vast i have learned my basics from my fav. teacher he also lived with me 1month in survey camp time i have done 6 month internship in last semester our HOD was preety Good his name is Er. Manoj Kumar He is always my fav. teacher

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Placement Experience

I am doing job nowadays from college placements but i am not happy nowadays the placement process is done by interview and test the company HR is preety good he asked many questions but i have answered faithfully

Campus was too good, we have done many things in our campus like contouring surveying, we also have done waste water design for tank and severage. our management also took part in cultural activity. our vice chancellor is a very nice person,he help me in many things

Sports facilities aare not preety good wifi is not available in our campus library is too big in size the librarian clerk is my cousion so i spend many time with her in library Labs are good equipments are limited availabale Enviorment Lab is not Available

Hostel Facilities

I adopt hostel only for 1 year after that i took a room and live with my cousion hostel life is too bad, I think its like a box for me in which i have closed always, I think that is too damm bullshit hostel nut students live freely there but i think they are not studying they are only enjoying there

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities.
