Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite focused on what is really required on ground in the industry. Including only those benchmarks that practically helps one get ready for corporate. Presentations and quizzes made sure the topics are revised frequently
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placements in last semester. They can choose to sit in placements and select if they would like to join the company theyve been selected for. Eligible candidates do end up getting great packages
Fees and Financial Aid
For a professional degree like Btech Food tech amd labs equipped with all the necessities it is quite feasible For candidates scoring good marks in 12th, were eligible to claim a relaxation on their semester fee
Campus Life
Living away from home in the hostel means you are bound to celebrate festivals away from home but here it felt like a home away from home. We celebrated everything in hostel together Being in Himachal made the journey even more special. The peaceful surroundings, positive environment and mentors who always cared beyond classrooms.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels literally have everything, from laundry services to food to cafe and shop. Room cleaning services to hot water availability to vending machines and a night mess facility as well And really well taken care of infrastructure
Admission
My focus was to get a college which is research focused. And values extra curricular activities. My time here gave me more than just a degree, it truly helped me find my passion. The admission process was entirely based on merit and exam.
Faculty
The faculty has always been very warm and welcoming in helping you in any way. It was while studying Fermentation Technology, that I got curious about wines and the process of winemaking & started learning more on my own, and eventually went on to pursue certifications in wines and spirits. The Food Tech and Agriculture dept both have been quite supportive in terms of providing everything one needs to carry out proper research in mentioned disciples.
Night Life
Everything is available inside the hostel itself, so one doesmt need to go out. Plus the security is way too strict, no hosteller is allowed outside after hostel timings, since himachal is a green place surrounded by forests, they ensure students are safe inside after evening hours
