MM University Solan: Admission 2026, Fees, Courses, Cutoff, Ranking, Placement

At MM University Solan, the B.Sc. Nursing admission process for the 2025 session has already closed by September. Currently, no new seats are available as counselling and allotments are completed. Interested students will need to wait for the next admission cycle in 2026 or check for mid-session vacancies officially.

Admission to MBBS without NEET is not allowed in India because NEET qualification is compulsory under NMC rules. Maharishi Markandeshwar University also requires valid NEET scores for MBBS admission. You can prepare again for NEET this year and apply next session after improving your score for better admission opportunities.

MMDU, Solan offers B.Tech/ B.Tech LTE/ B.Sc/ BBA/ MBBS courses at the UG level and M.Tech, M.Sc (Medical), M.Sc (Nursing), MD, and MS courses at the PG level. The university also offers Diploma programs in various disciplines.

• Applicants have to apply separately for each course. The application form can be filled out online, followed by submission at the university address.
• Students who have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English are eligible to get admission in the undergraduate programs.
• Applicants who have passed 10+2 with 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) are considered eligible to get admission in the MBBS program.
• Those who have passed graduation with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category) are eligible to get admission in post-graduate courses.
• Admission to B.Sc (Medical), BOT, BPT, BBA, and B.Tech (Lateral Entry) courses is offered based on candidates’ merit in the qualifying examination, whereas admission to the B.Tech program is given based on JEE Main score.
•  For B.Sc (Nursing), the university conducts a separate entrance test to provide admission.
• Selection of the candidate for the MBBS program is done through NEET UG.
• Candidates with a valid GATE score are preferred during admission to the M.Tech program.
• The candidates have to qualify in NEET PG to secure admission in MD and MS courses.
• M.Sc (Medical) admission is based on the marks obtained at the Bachelor’s level.

The admission process at Maharishi Markandeshwar (MM) University, Solan for the 2025 academic session is expected to begin in April-May 2025 for most UG and PG courses. Some courses may require entrance exams such as NEET (for MBBS), JEE (for B.Tech), etc.

Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), Solan offers on-campus, full-time programs across various disciplines, including engineering, management, medical sciences, and more. It does not offer courses for those who are not attending.

The admissions to these courses will be made through the Centralized Counselling Committee constituted by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh on the basis of all India merit of NEET-PG. Candidate should possess MBBS degree of any Institute/University recognized by the Medical Council of India regulations and must have completed Compulsory Internship on or before 31 March. The candidate possessing foreign qualifications (MBBS Degree) will have to produce the certificate of having passed the MCI Examinations as well; a Certificate of recognition by MCI of the Institution from which they have obtained the MBBS degree at the 1st round of counselling.

The one year hostel fee of Maharishi Markandeshwar University is from INR Two lacs forty five thousand to INR Three lacs twenty five thousand. The hostel fee includes mess fee and a refundable caution money.

The candidates should fulfill the following minimum conditions to become eligible for admission to the MBBS course:

1. He/She will attain the age of 17 years or more. The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination certificate.
2. The candidate must have passed both the following examinations:-
   • Senior School Certificate Examination (10+1 & 10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination as equivalent thereto with at least five subjects from any recognized Board/University with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together (45% in the case of candidates with Locomotive Disability) and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually in the qualifying examination. The student is also required to have passed in other subjects of +2 Examination.
   • Placed in the merit list prepared as a result of this Competitive Entrance Test by securing not less than 50% marks (45% in the case of candidates with locomotive disability of lower limbs). iii. The candidate must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Medical Board constituted/ approved by the Principal, M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mullana. The candidature of a candidate found medically unfit is liable to be canceled. Any candidate who fails to attend the medical examination on the notified date is liable to forfeit the claim.

In order to secure admission to the PhD course in MMU Solan, you need to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university and have to qualify it with atleast 50% marks. The entrance exam syllabus consists of matter concerned with PG Syllabus.

The annual fee of MMU Solan B.Sc.Nursing is INR Seventy thousand. The total fee of the course is INR Two lacs ten thousand. The eligibility is to complete HSC with PCB and English and secured at least 50% marks.

The first year fee of MMU Solan Bachelor of Physiotherapy is INR Ninety one thousand five hundred. The second, third and fourth year fees are INR Eighty seven thousand, Ninety two thousand and Ninety seven thousand respectively.
