Ques. What is the Admission procedure for admission in PhD at JUIT?
Ans. Admission to PhD Program is on the basis of merit. Candidates having qualified (NET/SLET/UGC/CSIR(JRF) are exempted from the PhD Entrance Test conducted by the University. Non-NET/SLET qualified candidates have to appear for the entrance test and selection offer will be made to the qualified candidates in order of merit.

- College infrastructure is very beautiful.
- Crowd here is very good as compare to other colleges

- The location is very remote there is nothing to do outside college
- Schedule is very hectic there will be lots of assignments and classes from 9 to 5
Admission:
The strenght of students in this college is low . In my year we have only 450 students .There is no big crowd like other colleges where 5000 students are sitting in CSE . I prefered this college because of its location and its placement is slightly better than other colleges.

- College campus is surrounded with lush green forest which makes environment positive and healthy.
- Campus life is amazing as there are many cultural, tech and gaming festival going on which encourages to participate and makes college life rememberable.
Dislikes
- College faculty is not up to the mark. Some of them are qualified but they don't know how to teach.
- Placement opportunities are less as compared to other universities.
Admission:
I only tried for this college as I prefered this because my seniors told me that this college is good for learning opportunities. I applied for the 12th basis counciling and got addmission on 1st day. Their is JEE Counciling also which is scheduled after 12th one. The cutoff for 12th was 70% and Jee was 60%ile.

- Faculty is great , really friendly and understanding

- There isn't much to say but very less events
- A lot of restrictions are here but it's ok

I didn't apply for a lot colleges honestly , JUIT is near to my hometown nice infrastructure, great scenic view and good placements I would say , I applied for private univs like CU , LPU , AMITY got accepted in all of them

- The faculty are much supportive and friendly and many of them are young
- The campus is outstanding the infrastructure is very nice

- The campus is very inclined the student got tired while going to temple and laundry
- The campus is situated at a decent place but there are lots of insects

JiiThe course eligibility is 60%in class 12 We can find application form on juit site or on a main site of Jaypee University the application fee is 1200 application starts from June the exam timing is 1 month the level is decent the admission process can more better and smooth

I applied in LPU but I didn't went there as I liked to stay in Himachal Pradesh due to Himachal's weather. I didn't get any rejection but I only wanted to enjoy Himachal's pleasant weather. we can take admission in juit on the basis of 12th and JEE mains too. When I took admission there was a criteria that we should have more than 70% in 12th ,subject included only English ,Maths, Physics and chemistry, There is No Entrance exam of juit.

- Half of the faculties don't know how to teach
Admission:
To get CS, you should get 70 percent in 12th You can find application form fees and dates on juit website. There is a reservation for OBC, military background, and facilities children. There are three exams within a 1.5-month gap which is quite decent.
Likes
- Enviornment of the college is surreal it is situated in the lap of Himalayas and the weather there is always pleasant. Minimal amount of heat in the summer season and near to Shimla and Chandigarh for connectivity.
- Hostel is good and the hostel amenities are better than expected.
Dislikes
- Management is old style and the college professors have also been old style.
- They bother for every small details and there is fine for everything which .
Admission:
The admission process is straight forward you can get admission either through jee or through 12th class percentage they conduct a counseling for all the newly admitted students so you get the opportunity to visit the college and test it yourself before getting admission.

- Environment is good. Distraction is very less.
- Food and accommodation is very well maintained. All services are available
Dislikes
- As a student i don't think there is something to be disliked.
- As a computer science and engineering student there must be some advance labs for research purposes
Admission:
As a PhD student if you have NET qualified then they will provide direct admission. Otherwise you have to give one entrance examination. For full time research scholar entrance test is mandatory and if you are intrested for part time then there is no need for entrance test.

JUIT Solan does not offer B.Tech. in Lateral Entry mode. There is only B.Tech. of four year duration course offered. The first year fee of the course is INR Two lacs ninety nine thousand.
The per year fee of JUIT B.Tech. course is INR Two lacs ninety nine thousand. The per semester fee of the course is INR One lac forty nine thousand five hundred.
