- Faculty and Teaching quality: Quite knowledgeable
- Campus and infrastructure: well equipped classrooms and labs, campus is clean and green, high speed internet, classroom projectors.
- Academic discipline: The university is quite strict about attendance and discipline.
Dislikes
- Girls to boys ratio: roughly it is like in my class there were 7 boys and 2 girls
- Remote location, it is located on a hill near waknaghat
- Course curriculum: could be more industry aligned
Placement Experience:
Placement at JUIT begins from the 7th semester, core branches like cSE see good placements while Bioinformatics has limited on campus opportunities, Most of them opt for higher studies or research roles. I planned to go for job.

- The location of the college is very beautiful . There are very popular travel location near the college as Shimla, Solan, Chail etc.
- The faculty in the college is very helpful and interactive with all the students.
- The placement in the college is is good with a average package of 7 to 10 lakhs per annum.
Dislikes
- all the major cities are atleast 25km away from the university.
- The closet market is located 3km away from the college. But there are shops in the campus.
- There are timings for entering and to get out of campus . But on the other hand it is to make sure that the students are safe.
Internships Opportunities:
difrent came for internships in college but most of the students find internship on there own . due to roles and work . with company for interns in the college and the role offered are stipend basedand ppo convertion is on performance.

- The view is good and the environment is also nice
Dislikes
- Sports facilities are less means you have to wait alot plus gym and all are only good for seniors
Placement Experience:
Placements are above average if you have got the skills then you can forge ahead like in any other tier 2 college this college also has similar settings and companies come here because of the Jaypee name that's being carried

- Very good weather and climate conditions.
- Not as such crowded like other universities.
- Course curriculam and faculty is also good.
Dislikes
- You have to walk very much in histels as well as academic nlock.
- Fee is comparitively on higher side as compaerd to ther universities.
- Very few Events are there, even the events that take place are not that good.
Internships Opportunities:
I am a first year student so I'm not having that much knowledge about internships and the stipends but they are 6 out of 10. I've not applied for any internships till now so can't really comment on that.

- The natural beauty is the main centre of attraction
- The infrastructure is also ok according to me
- Girls to boys ratio is fine to be honest

- Faculty is not appropriate for some of the subjects
- Day scholars are not allowed on Sundays even for studying in library

Internship is not yet clear to me but if you have anyone in your family or relation you can perform internship but college provides or not that is still not clear to me till date. Focus on your projects

- The beauty of the place is the best thing.
- With beauty, the weather is very good. Although it is cold in winters but it is very sunny in the day which is the best part
- Blowers in hostel which operate in winters only
Dislikes
- Blowers only operate for peak season and in some rooms people complain 3-4 times saying it's not working
- You have to walk a lottttttt. You enter -2 of academics after climbing 50 stairs and you have to again do that as classess are present from 0 floor to 4th floor
- No scholarships based on cgpa which I expected

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement but you can apply off-campus if you want. A lot of times off-campus placements are of better amount than on campus placements.
Almost out of 400 students present in a year, 100 get very good on campus placements.(Almost above 10 lakhs)
100 get between 5-10 lakhs
And rest ho for higher degrees although they get a placement of 4-5 lakhs

- The Campus is at wonderful location and weather is amazing .
- The interactions in college is also amazing . The teachers and seniors are very helpful and interaction between them is also very calm and tension free.
- Infrastructure of academic Block , Hostel and overall university including extra curricular activites is Perfect.
Dislikes
- Sometimes it is too cold and heaters don't provide heat in every room.

The names of companies vary from mass recruiters to the ones that only take 2 to 3 students.
The name of companies that are mass recruiters are LTIMindtree , Infosys , Cognizant , Wipro .
The other companies that take selective students are like Playsmart , Nestzsmart , ZScaler , ZS etc.

- The things that i liked were the location of the college to be honest and the weather because its in Himachal Pradesh and being from UP i always wanted to live in such a place.
- Some of the faculty is really helping and understanding
Dislikes
- majority of the faculty, they don't wanna listen to children and their concern and honestly its the worst part of being in this college
- the amount of drugs going on in college, as this college is in Himachal Pradesh drugs and drinks are easily available to children and are openly done by majority of the children on campus

college doesnt provide internships for free all are paid and the purpose is only for writing in the resumes for past experience and it's a mendatory task if you want to register for your final year.
its advisal to make projects on own and search for internships by self because the collge doesnt provide such opportunities.

- The college is located in a peaceful area with lots of greenery, which makes it a calm and relaxing place.
- The campus has all the necessary facilities like classrooms, labs, library, making it easy to focus on studies.
- There are lots of extracurricular activities to get involved in like cultural events, clubs, and sports.
Dislikes
- The College is located in a remote location, about 25km away from main city (both shimla ans solan) and 3km from the nearest bus stop, which makes commuting a bit inconvenient sometimes.
- Although taxis are available at the college gate all the time and the college has a fixed bus schedule to help with commuting.
Internships Opportunities:
The college offer internship with various companies and also in campus summer internship for some students. Interns receive stipends, working on realt-world projects like app development and data analytics.
