From Classrooms to Campus Life: A JUIT Solan Review

Course curriculum: could be more industry aligned

Fees and Financial Aid:

As a B.Tech Bioinformatics student, I have personally experienced the fee structure and say it is moderately expensive but transparent. In my first year the tutution fee per semester was 1,24,000 along with one time admission fee 50,000 and a refundable caution deposit of 20,000. Hostel charges are about 80,000 per sem with single rooms costing around 7500 per sem. The tution fee increases gradually with each academic year. For SC/ST reserved categories the university offers waivers/concessions. Over entire four year course the totak cost for tution and everything is about 15-16 lakhs for general category student. On brighter side the university does offer a range of financial support options that is the William Webster Merit-Cum Means Scholarship.

Jaypee university of information technology solan

Fees and Financial Aid:

the tution fees in jaypee university of information technology solan is approx 132000 each semester with slight increase and the hostel fees is 80000 per semester. There is a additional charge for single room in hostel which is 7500. They take a amount of 10000 as caution fees at the the start of college and there is no extra fees for laundry , dispensary , mess etc. There are no lab charges through out the degree. other than this you just have to pay charges like printing , laundry ( drycleaning , handwash) which totally depends upon the student. All the students from different braches have he same fees .

The year wise fee that I pay is 160000 per semester and it increases 5 percent every year and carries on or so we have different fee for people who have guardians in army and or for different backgrounds and for employees of Jaypee

Fee is comparitively on higher side as compaerd to ther universities.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Tution fee for the batch 2024-2028 was starting from 149250 per semester and there will be an increment of 5% every year. Admission fee was 25000. Scholarships are also there which varies year to year. But Scholarships based on category.

150000 rupees per semester for 4 years without hostel. No fee concession for obc the fees increases every semester by 2000 . Fees is slightly on a higher side of you can afford you can surely come here

Strictness in attendance. You have to maintain 80 percent

Sometimes they don't consider minor fracture and other minor medical issues for missing classes

The fee structure for B.TECH CSE remains same for 2 consecutive semesters then increases a bit for 3rd but remains same for 4th...this way the avg fee per year remains 3 lakhs and there is a bit of reservation for wards of people in defence and fee compensation for them. Other than initial category wise scholarship there is no provision for scholarships based on cgpa, which is there in many colleges. Caution fee is separate for hostel and academics ...for academic it is 25,000/- (non-refundable) and hostel 20,000/- (refundable).

Classes should be attended as attendance criteria is very strict

Fees for my university is 1.5 lakh per semester and 80k per semester hostel fees and 20k security fees there was no other charges other than this also registeration fees that was almost 2500 I don't think there was as such any scholarship

Here the semester-wise fees are paid at Rs.2.1 Lakhs per semester, which is around Rs.4.2 Lakhs per year . The tuition fee is around Rs.1.2 lakhs per semester including all the taxes except hostel fees, which is to be paid with it which is Rs.80,000 per semester . No scholarships are there but for students whose parents are working in the same group have some waived off on the overall Fee.
