Course Curriculum Overview:
IEM provides a wide range of curriculum options to it's students. It has different periodic workshops held in order to make the students ready for real life engineering tasks and well as other challenges. IEM has integrated different ways of teaching like smart board, interactive sessions off campus, etc. IEM hosts total of 3 theory exams per semester and 1 entire practical exam session. The 3 theory exams include 2 mid semester or internal exams and one main end semester exam. All these exams have quite good standard questions, and they take place within about 1.5 to 2 months time apart from each other.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum stands out for its blend of relevance and comprehensiveness, catering to both theoretical understanding and practical application. What drew me to this course were the hands-on projects and industry-relevant topics integrated into the curriculum. These aspects not only enrich learning experiences but also provide valuable insights into real-world scenarios, preparing students effectively for future endeavors, be it in professional settings or further academic pursuits. The curriculum's emphasis on bridging theory with practice ensures that graduates are equipped with not just theoretical knowledge but also the practical skills necessary to thrive in their chosen field.
However, there are areas where the curriculum could be further improved. Introducing more interdisciplinary topics or collaborations with industry partners could enhance its relevance and better reflect the dynamic nature of modern professions.
the college have a different placement cell who looks for all the placement related issues.

No actually the placement is actually good in compare to the others private college in west bengal. if you have a decent cgpa you will easily get a placement but for that obviously you should have the knowledge the company wants from you.
Placement giving procedures and companies that comes to visit are many
The exposure from this college is good and we can experience different things if we work hard here.
The study pressure sometimes help me to keep us on track.
Dislikes
The campus of the college is worst, no place to play freely.
Class periods are too compact one after another, too much pressure on assignments and studies
Teachers are strict, some have worst attitude in name of maintaining discipline
Placement Experience:
Mostly from 3rd semester and 4th student become eligible. Many IT companies comes for offering placement, iem have great network among companies. Tcs, Capgemini, PWC, cognizant, Wipro..many more comes but for core fields few are there such as Borosil. The placement package is average for most..but if you work hard you'll get a decent placement. Mostly 80% students gets placement maybe few more. My plans after completing the degree is either building startup or moving abroad for job...if nothing happens then I'll look for job here and then study on robotics.
Campus placements are very good as well of this college.
Dislikes
Sometimes the college can be very strict.
Lack of AC in the classrooms can be a big problems for the students.
