First of all I never stepped out of my hometown so I choose a college which will be somewhat 100km and also having good placement ratio. Then I appeared jee mains I qualified that entrance and apply to different colleges but this was convenient for me upto my perspective of thinking as it met all my needs

There are 3 top level state govt engineering college in Odisha.IGIT is one of the oldest college in Odisha I applied for Tfw(Tuition fee waiver) in this college I wanted the CET college CSE because their placement ratio in cse field is too good as compared to other colleges also my rank is not good for that college in that particular year so I got this college in second round and Admission process is too good and during reporting the college authorities will help you

I have applied to ugi college rourkela and igit sarang and I get selected in igit. I have applied to UGI college rourkela and I get rejected because it asking above 80%. The eligibility to take admission in college is after iti is minimum above 7 cgpa

You have to attempt for JEE mains Exam or OJEE Exams to get a seat for yourself in this college, at my time you have to score high ranks to get admission in this college but recent I guess the cutoffs are medium low now, but according to your ranks you get into different streams/branch, yes there were quotas also according to government rules. Exams are quite well the questions are medium level not too high standards and exams are really strict here, and yes they show you your papers after exams, so don't worry u can increase your marks in requests.

The admission in done by ojee or jee exams it is a joint exam for all to be college students you require good rank to get admission there is sc st reservation of 30% seats and free hostels for girls the exam is quit easy and yet difficult for admission I suggest to get a good rank and go for civil or electrical engineering without hesitation this college is very good in Odisha

There was ojee base entrance and jee main to be clear for getting seat . The cutoff more in computer science engineering and information technology high cutoff. The other branch like mechanical and electrical middle range cutoff.

We had to appear for JEE or OJEE entrance exam. According to the cut off, we applied for counselling. And were selected for admission. The cut off for BTECH particularly for CIVIL branch goes between 1.5L to 3L all india rank and 2.5L to 6L all india rank for both general and category respectively.

A student must have 60% career in both 10th and 12th class to appear jee mains exam which is the pre qualification exam for btech. Scheduled caste quota is also available. Exams is conducted in every four months
