Senior junior relations except some is good boys girl ratio is 1:3
College is present in the lap of the nature and homely atmosphere

Course Curriculum Overview

A little bit Outdated but still manages to satisfy the core requirements. The core structure needs a little improvement the curriculum must include the new concepts that are used in markets Exam time frequency is normal

No internship Internships are provided. Two types of projects conducted by our institute such as major project and minor projects. Each group have a mentor who guidance for the project of the students

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is poor. In 7 semester students eligible for campus. TCS, Infosys and argusoft companies are visited. Highest package is 8 LPA and average package are 3to 4 LPA 30 % students only get the placement My plan is higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

1.The year wise value of tuition fees is 83000 but i got the tuition fees Weber (TFW) seat so i have to paid 28000 per year as tuition fee and 46000 as hostel fees . 2.tution fees is 28000 , registration fees is approx 2000 and different for different semester, development fees 5000,lab fees 5000 3.fees of my friends is 83000 but i got a TFW seat so my fees is 28000 No scholarship

Campus Life

Our college organize annual athletics meet every year, each branch have their own functions. There are sufficient amount of books present in our library. Each class room have sufficient no of bances and a black board and a LED screen

Hostel Facilities

There is not sufficient amount of hostels for the boys in our college but for the girls there are sufficient amount of hostels. Meal quality is good.menu is chicken,fish,egg, mutton, biriyani, paneer, mashroom

Admission

I was admitted on enrollment in CSE course but due to low rank i could not get NITR so i took admission here. Ye I get a rejection from other college . I did not get due to low rank . In The addmission process the students are selected in the basis of JEE entrance exam ranking

Faculty

9Faculty to student ratio 1:10 . faculty to student relationship is very good , faculties are very friendly. DR Prof Sarojananda Mishra is my liked one . I like him because he is friendly. I don't like our HOD because he doesn't support extra curricular activities like dance ,song , sports etc . Per semester include 5 subject and 1 honours paper . Almost 90 % students are clear the exam

Interview Experience

Yes i face a group discussion. And i appeared Joint entrance exam JEE exam and the admission is taken on the basis of ranking.after complete my 12th exam i appeared the JEE mains exam . Topics of GD is how to get a good college

Night Life

Our college have 2 cafeteria and one library . Our college have 6 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel . Out side a campus a local place named ananta sayan is present . And 2 parks are present in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Relevance & Comprehensiveness (Rating: 7/10) The course curriculum at SOA is updated frequently compared to state government colleges. Why I chose this: I was attracted to the fact that the syllabus includes modern electives like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics starting from the 3rd year itself, rather than waiting for the final semester. Real-world Prep: The curriculum is designed largely to crack placement interviews. There is a heavy focus on Aptitude and Core Coding subjects (DS/Algo) which helps in getting a job. However, for deep research or R&D roles, the theoretical depth is sometimes lacking. 2. Areas for Improvement Teaching Methods: A major issue is the reliance on PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs). Many faculty members just read off the slides. I would prefer more "Whiteboard Teaching" for mathematical and logic-based subjects. Lab Records: We spend hours handwriting practical records/files which are just copied from the manual. This is a waste of time. This time should be used for live coding projects or hackathons. Outdated Subjects: First-year students (even in CS/IT) are forced to learn heavy mechanical/civil concepts. While basics are good, the depth of these non-core subjects should be reduced. 3. Exam System & Difficulty Frequency: It is quite hectic. We have 2 semesters a year. Each semester has 2 Internal Assessments (Quizzes/Mid-sems) and 1 End-Semester Exam. Basically, you have an exam every 1.5 to 2 months. Difficulty: The exams are Easy to Moderate. It is not very difficult to pass. If you study the "Class Notes" and "Previous Year Questions" for 3-4 days before the exam, you can easily score an 8.0 SGPA. The checking is lenient for passing, but strict if you are aiming for a 9.5+ SGPA.

Life at NIST

Placement Experience:

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Value For money college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.

Placement Experience:

I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.

Comprehensive Review of Campus life at IIIT Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placementfrom the beginning of 7th semester. Major companies that visit include Oracle, Media.net, Tiger Analytics, Incture, Quantiphi, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Informatica and many others. The highest package offered was 24 LPA by Zscaler, while the average package for the electronics branch stands at 6 LPA. This year placements were affected by the recession, resulting in approx 100 students remaining unplaced.

First experience of iiit bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for internship officially from 3rd yr and for placements 7th semester onwards. Recently oracle has visited and 4-6 gote in there with 26 LPA . Zscalara was also there around 15 LPA . Percentage last year was 80-85 ig. I think I will join as a software developer along with a carrier in photography but let's see what happens.

Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
