10 Oct, 2025 GATE 2026 Registration is ongoing for ME/ MTech/ PhD Admission 2026-27. The last date to register with a late fee @gate2026.iitg.ac.in has been extended to Oct 13, 2025. Further, GATE 2026 Exam will be conducted on Feb 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2026.

The Mathematics and Computing curriculum is being updated for students to learn about AI and machine learning. Hostel food is good, tand here is also sports coaching. The Campus organises cultural events like Cultrang and inter-sports. However, sometimes the academic infrastructure isn’t very well maintained, the library isn’t open long hours, and Wi-Fi can be an issue. The yearly B.Tech. Many students has the doubt of selecting best branch or college, I would say going for the branch yeah it's true that high collages have high placements but it's doesn't guarantee uhhh to get a job uhh must have the best knowledge so gain the best knowledge is best course instead of low branch and then doing other courses. Taking best branch lead you to higher position and every iit has its good placement and bad too but here in goa almost it's very good rather some guys who ignore.

I have got the admission by writing JEE MAINS and ADVANCED. The counselling is through JOSAA. To apply for the jee mains go to jeemain.nta.ac.in and there will be two attempts to write jee and you need to get a minimum percentile to qualify to write JEE ADVANCED and in JEE ADVANCED you need to score a good rank to get into an IIT ( rank varies depending on the reservation you have). I belong to general category so I had no reservation. The counselling is through JOSAA which has 6 rounds which wil start after the delaration of results of ADVANCED. so basically to get into an IIT, the procedure is simple, there are jee advanced and jee mains which are conducted on a national level, so if anyone wants to register for the jee mains, they can apply for jee mains in the website of nta.aic.in. there are two phases of jee mains and if you qualify in any one of the phases which depends on the reservation, eligible criteria on merit. so basically you get into a nit through your merit from mains or register in jee advanced and qualify in that exam to get into an IIT.

The college was not established properly, the campus was under construction. The classes were taking place from the campus of NSIT-D. She didn’t have much idea about the IIIT brand name and chose to opt for a more established college.

However, during her four years at the institution, IIIT-D became established with an above-average placement rate. The takeaway from this experience is as follows.

Brand name matters, even when it is a new institute.
Do a little research on the faculty of the institute. All your academics depend on the faculty. (That’s something IIIT-D had in the above case).
Go for the best options you can find in your rank. Always compare the options you are getting. Look for the best name, faculty, and other factors.
If it’s a choice between the college and branch. Go for the branch because the branch will drive your future and your career.
