Likes

Hostels are very good as they are built by the iit sector
Sports coaching will be started in the first week of college.
Snacks are too nice to have.and they also provide necessary protein as eggs milk ..etc

Dislikes

The academic infrastructure is good but maintainance is bad as it's rental academic block
Library will be closing at 10 pm itself.
Wifi is kinda poor rarely.But can be managed if uhh get an lan adapter.

Course Curriculum Overview

As we the the industry are facing the ai hence the mathematics and computing is the course which mostly deals with A.I and machine learning and it's application too you can obviously choose for this course. If you are worried about cse let me clear you one thing every course is updated as per this latest technology so don't worry about AI. Still I would prefer you to take mathematics and computing rather than cse as it has high future aspects even cse students are trying to gain mathematics as electives and minor degrees.

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 226000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For sem it is around 1,26,000 I don't think it increases significantly. My batchmate of sc is paying around 50,000 per semister. Scholarship can be applied through the portal of the collage which can provide uhh the fee remuneration.and free mess

Campus Life

Inter sports selection will be in September. We celebrate freshers day also in the September which is know as cultrang. College will try it's best to provide the best facilities even if there is any problem you can reach out to staff. Every sports was assigned by a best couch so even if uhh have zero knowledge you would be able to play very well. If it comes to club activities it also starts registration in the first month so overall don't hesitate exploring the knowledge is way to success and iit goa doesn't set back in it.

Admission

Many students has the doubt of selecting best branch or college, I would say going for the branch yeah it's true that high collages have high placements but it's doesn't guarantee uhhh to get a job uhh must have the best knowledge so gain the best knowledge is best course instead of low branch and then doing other courses. Taking best branch lead you to higher position and every iit has its good placement and bad too but here in goa almost it's very good rather some guys who ignore.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is around 7:1 which ch is very good. And ofcourse no need to worry about the level of yourself as the interaction between faculty and students is too gud and don't hesitate to contact them anytime.

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too

Placement Experience:

Our college placement is very good and give us best pakeges. They are excellent for computer science and electrical branch but average for mechanical and MnC. But packages here are improving at exponential rate.

Completing engineering from IIT is like a dream come true for every engineering student. IITs not only provide good placement but learning and the exposure and opportunities that we get is unimaginable. I also wanted to be part of IIT and I really worked hard for the GATE exam but frankly speaking, I am an average student and my GATE score was between 755 to 860 according to me ad my preference is IIT Goa was the best option. To be part of IIT Goa I need to clear the GATE exam that I did and I should have a minimum of 55% marks. My academic qualification was according to IIT Goa.
