- The faculties are rude and extremely toxic.
- The faculties don't have clear understandings of the syllabus.. the lack of alignment with prescribed syllabus leads to high failure rate with nearly 60% of students failing in each semester
- Quite often the semester examination papers include topics that were not covered by the teachers in class. in My class 23/75 students got block(year back). Which must be highest rate of failures across entire India
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is the same across all the 5 colleges It's too outdated to be studied Not relevant for modern-day job markets Students often have to study different materials to crack a job. Youtibe is best solution to clear the concepts
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are not the issue here, its around 30k for goan student and 70k for non goan students. Overall its affordable. The more important factor is placement scenario.. Looking at the placement scenarios the fees must not be even taken becuase they hardly get any company ..
Campus Life
Campus life is Ok- Ok Even though the college hardly conducts any cultural activities, students often participate and win that of other colleges The infrastucture as per number of students is also quite okay too
Admission
I highly recommend not to choose this college, the reasons are: 1. No good placements 2. Hardly 10% of the students get campus placements 3. Lowest salary placement across all the tier 3 colleges in India 4. Extremely rude and arrogant teachers who make learning much more difficult.
Faculty
The overall teaching quality needs serious improvements Faculties lack a basic understanding of the prescribed Syllabus 1. They lack coverage of topics that could probably appear in semester 2. Often, the Semester papers majorly consists of questions that were never covered in college 3. The faculty just read from the PPT with very little explanation. Making learning ineffective. 4. Consequently, the college has a high failure rate with a significant number of students receiving backlog each semester. 5. This becomes a major setback for students' careers. depriving them to appear for on- or off-campus recruitment drives 6. The senior teachers are extremely rude and toxic and cannot be approached with doubts.
Night Life
No nightlife, gym, cafeterias, hostels. Bus facility is also not available for South Goan students. There are no hangout places in or outside the college Although The locality is quite safe to roam around
