Government Polytechnic Bicholim is a pioneer institute of technology established in the year 1992. The institute has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. Currently, it is running a Diploma in Engineering program across five specializations. Admissions are conducted by DTE, Govt. of Goa on the basis of merit. The institute has a spacious campus with good infrastructural facilities.

The admissions to the Diploma courses are done by the Directorate of Technical Education (D.T.E), Govt. of Goa, Centralized Admission Division on the basis of marks obtained by the student's secondary examination

  • Library: The college has a very spacious library with plenty of books for the students so that the learning of students never stops. 
  • ∙ Computer Lab: The campus has a well-equipped computer lab, with the latest computers and accessories, for the students to stay connected with technological advancements.
  • ∙ Hostel: The institute has a spacious and fully furnished hostel to accommodate 60 students, the hostel charges a minimal amount of Rs. 400 per term from the students. 
  • ∙ Transport: A transport facility is there for the staff and students of the institute. The transport facility is also used for field trips and for other educational purposes.
  • House Keeping and Security: The college works their best to provide students with all the help they need by housekeeping, and also has a well-functioning security team to make sure the students stay safe.

You can take admission in Electrical Engineering at Government Polytechnic Bicholim after 10th class through the Directorate of Technical Education Goa. Fill the online application form, attend centralized counselling, submit required documents, and pay fees after seat allotment. Admission is mainly based on 10th marks and merit process.
