I got the benefit of merit cum means scholarship which generally awarded to top 25 percent students in every iit where we don't have to 1 lakh tuition fee and also tuition fee is 1 lakh per semester and other 25 to 30 k per month for other charges

The fees of the college is big issue for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee hearing IIT Jammu is a bit high than the normal height for the first semester the institute fee is 1,40,000 and the hostel and mess fee is 40k for the first semester. But from the 2nd semester, the fees will decrease a bit. You can search for scholarships on the National Scholarship Portal. The fees of IIT Jammu are a main issue for me and the rest of the students.

The college provides scholarships as per the guideline of MHRD and the scholarship is available on a merit basis. The college also provides financial assistance to the needy. The college B.Tech program fee is around 5 lakh as the college fee is quite reasonable in comparison to many IITs and the college also provides very good placement with the average salary offer is around 19 LPA which is very good ROI.
